It's been a tough week for Belfast, and an especially difficult one for our club.
At times like these, we're reminded just how important community is. Running won't fix everything, but it does have a way of bringing people together, getting us out of our own heads for a while, and reminding us that we're not on our own.
This Saturday, Ormeau Runners are taking over Ormeau parkrun in memory of our friend Lisa, who we sadly lost this week. Lisa was a familiar face at parkruns over the years, and we can't think of a more fitting way to honour her memory than by coming together to run, walk, volunteer and support one another.
Whether you're chasing a PB, jogging round with friends, volunteering, or just coming along for a chat afterwards, we'd love to see you.
We'll have our gazebo set up afterwards with tea, coffee and a few buns, and everyone's very welcome to join us.
