East Belfast Women's tennis shines at the Marlborough Clinic Ulster Open tournament as Jessica Leeman Hawarden Tennis Club lands a terrific Double . Jessica ,the talented sister of Northern Ireland Pro Player and Irish National Indoors Champion Dylan ,played a fabulous Singles final with rising star Isabella Connor winning 2-1 . Jessica added the Mixed Doubles title with Hawarden Tennis Club award winning Coach Jordan McKeown. It's another big step forward for Jessica who hopefully will feature in more finals and the Ireland Billie Jean King Cup in the future.
Well played everyone in the finals today and Cian McDonnell Pro Player who won the men's singles final at his home club Belfast Boat Club in their 150 Anniversary Year .

Back in Dec 2024 we posted about a fab win by top GB United Cup players Katie Boulter and her doubles partner the excellent Charles Broom 28 . Tomorrow Northern Ireland's top grass court player Dylan Leeman 23 from East Belfast will play Team GB United Cup player Charles Broom in the Dublin ATP Challenger grass court tournament. This is a big day for Northern Ireland Ulster and Belfast tennis with Dylan and his Coach Jordan McKeown on the big stage . Northern Ireland,Ulster and Belfast Tennis is proud of the guys from the wee club Hawarden Tennis Club in East Belfast.Good Luck 🍀 🍀🍀 to Dylan for tomorrow Sunday 14th June .

The good times roll on for Irish National Indoors Champion and the reigning Northern Ireland grass court Champion Dylan Leeman from Hawarden Tennis Club East Belfast. Dylan won today's Wild Card play off final against Irish top player James McGloughlin for the ATP Dublin Challenger professional tournament next week . Dylan defeated friend,Ulster team member and fellow professional Cian McDonnell in a tight match along the way.
Congratulations Dylan and well played
Cian who have done Northern Ireland,Ulster and Irish Tennis proud . Good luck 🍀🍀🍀to Dylan at the Dublin ATP tournament at the Elm Park Golf and sports club Donnybrook next week .

The 1st lines are the 1st signs of summer grass court tennis 😁at the beautiful Musgrave Park Belfast FREE public tennis courts . Grass cut,tram lines painted and net posts fixed in the ground . Next is the inner court lines painted,nets up and play 🎾. Well done to the Musgrave Park Staff and the Belfast City Council.
