🏆 CHAMPIONS ARE IN THE HOUSE! 🏆

What a season it has been for Donegal Celtic Ladies! We have officially WON Division 5 and now it’s time to seal the deal and lift that trophy! 👑⚽

We wrap up our incredible season this week against Rathfriland Ladies, and we want to turn the sidelines into a sea of green and white support! 🟢⚪

Let’s pack the grounds, make some serious noise, and watch the girls lift the cup they worked so hard for all year. It’s going to be an absolutely class night!

Match report vs Hanover ☘️

Thank-you to Hanover for a great game

Girls played Hanover in 2nd last game of the season in which we knew was going to be tough as girls had serval players out injured and on holiday

Girls didn’t start off great going a goal behind from Hanover number 8 were she rounded Trish in nets and tapped into empty net 0-1 ⚽️ 8 mins

Girls levelled the game with Cliodhna getting her 32nd goal of the season with a great strike from outside the box into top corner 1-1 ⚽️ 10 mins

Hanover number 8 got threw again but only for on rushing Trish in nets to get out too block her shot 🙌

2nd half
Girls started off again very flat and with Hanover creating couple half chances were Trish was able to easily deal with them

Girls were forced into making couple subs and they made instant impact with Demi putting ball over the top for Cliodhna to smash into the net to go 2-1 up with her 33rd goal this season 80th min😃⚽️

Hanover tried to push for an equaliser but girls held out too keep there 100% league record 💪

Shout out too Hanover number 8 who had also played a magnificent game ⚽️

Match report vs Bloomfield ☘️

Girls played very well tonight against Bloomfield with back line being solid and midfield winning there battles in the middle of the park with Demi Joleen and captain katie Ann winning there individual battles 💪

Cliodhna Petticrew yet again getting another hattrick to bring her tally upto 31 goals for the season and with one of the goals being very good where she took the ball on the turn and struck her shot well from 25 yards out into the bottom corner ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Joleen got onto score sheet aswel bringing her tally upto 6 for the season and girls running out 4-0 winners 🙌

Even with Cliodhna getting a hattrick another player stood out that we bit more which was Demi kinghan with her relentless hard work in midfield driving girls forward and winning so many tackles being a great leader on the pitch also 💪⭐️

Girls now officially crowned Division 5 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2026 ☘️💚
