🏐💚 EXPECTATIONS IN ACTION 💙🏐

Respect isn't about being perfect.

We all experience disappointment, frustration and challenging moments during training and competition. What matters is how we choose to respond.

In this scenario, a player disagrees with an umpire's decision and reacts negatively. While emotions can run high, these reactions can create tension, distract teammates and impact the environment around us.

A respectful response doesn't mean you have to agree with every decision. It means accepting the decision, refocusing on the next play and continuing to support those around you.

Respect is demonstrated through actions, especially when things don't go our way.

🏐💚 OUR CODE OF CONDUCT 💙🏐

As part of our Respect Starts With Us campaign, we're taking a closer look at the standards that help create positive, safe and inclusive experiences across Netball Northern Ireland.

Our Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in the game, including players, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents and spectators.
It helps to:

✔ Promote respect
✔ Support positive experiences
✔ Create safe environments

Together, these standards help ensure that netball remains a welcoming and enjoyable sport for all.

We're so excited for the 2026-27 netball season! 🏐

We train every Wednesday night in Brook Leisure Centre and will start back on Wednesday 2 September.

This year, our Senior 1s will compete in the Netball NI Premier League and our Senior 2s will compete in the Netball NI Senior 3 League - if you're interested in joining our senior club, please let us know.

There are limited spaces remaining across all of our junior teams so please drop us a message to find out more. 🙌

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September. 🩷

Huge congratulations to Orlaith, Shelly and Emma and their Netball Northern Ireland teammates who wrapped up their 2026 Commonwealth Games today with a huge win against Trinidad and Tobago earning them an 11th place finish.🙌👏

We’re so proud of these girls who all came through the junior ranks of Westside and still champion and support our club even while smashing it over in their respective super-league teams in England.✨🏐🩷

This tournament in particular was a special one with Shelly captaining the NI side and Orlaith making her Commonwealth debut.

Supporting the Warriors in Glasgow 🏐☘️

Over the weekend, some of our club members made the trip to Glasgow to cheer on the Netball Northern Ireland Warriors at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. These days away are always a brilliant chance to catch up outside the season while watching a variety of netball teams compete at such a high standard.

Alongside backing the Warriors, we were especially proud to support three athletes who came through our junior ranks and continue to be role models for players right across our club.

Shelly, Emma and Orlaith, your maturity, strength and composure on court was an inspiration to all of us. The whole club is so proud of you 🩷

Over the weekend, we also had some (very) early birthday celebrations for our head coach Andi’s 60th birthday. From delivering the NI vs ENG match ball to enjoying plenty of cake, it was a brilliant chance to recognise everything she brings to our club and to netball in Northern Ireland. With her two daughters competing across the weekend, the celebrations felt even more special 🩷

Wishing the Warriors the very best of luck for their remaining games. We can’t wait to see them keep growing from strength to strength. 💚🏐

It's Match Day!

Today, our Northern Ireland Warriors are back on court for their fourth Pool A fixture at the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 as they take on South Africa.

With every game, the Warriors continue to wear the green dress with pride, representing Northern Ireland on the Commonwealth stage with passion, determination and heart.
