Thanks to all of the girls who came along to our new Intro to Football sessions.

What a fantastic first session we had with the girls, we hope they all enjoyed it and it was great to see plenty of familiar faces, some new faces especially from the school coaching we have done recently ….

𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 | 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟴𝘀

Due to exceptional demand within our Under 8s section, following the rapid growth and success of our Under 7s programme, we are delighted to announce a series of additional open training sessions as we look to form two new Under 8 teams.

These teams will be established through the Bedlington Football Cooperative, with the long-term aim of representing both Bedlington FC and Bedlington United providing young players with a clear pathway for development within the local game.

Investing in players at this age is vital to building strong foundations for the future. Early development allows young footballers to learn key technical skills, build confidence, develop a love for the game, and grow within a positive and supportive environment.

By creating additional opportunities at grassroots level, we are ensuring that more local children have access to quality coaching and a structured pathway into football.

With our unrivalled facilities, excellent coaching environment, and commitment to player development, we are in a fantastic position to attract and nurture some of the area's most promising young talent.

Our aim is not only to develop better footballers but also to help young people grow in confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship, ensuring a bright future for football in Bedlington.

Bedlington FC are recruiting for our brand new women’s team for the 26/27 season.

With a proud history of girls football in Bedlington, we now have a complete pathway into our Women’s team and we're looking for new players to join us.

Led by our amazing Head Coach Jade, we're holding open sessions every Monday in June to welcome new players.

We currently compete in the Sunderland Mill View Veterans League, playing against teams from Sunderland, Durham and the surrounding areas.

So close yet so far... Simon Thompson reveals a Queen but it's not the one we're looking for.

He does take away £100 though for having his ticket drawn but the Queen of Hearts is still in the deck somewhere so the jackpot rolls on for another week

A fantastic day yesterday at the Gail Stafford Memorial Cup.

🔵⚪️ 𝗨𝟵 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮'𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ⚪️🔵

U9 Malaga, formed as a new team at that start 25/26 season, played their first tournament at Darras Hall this weekend.

On a hot day, and tournament football providng a new format with a lot a games in a short time, Malaga gave it their all and put in some amazing performances.

And the effort was all worth it as they bagged 2nd place. Not bad for your first go... we're sure they'll be more tournaments in future and some silverware too.

A huge well done to all the players and their coaches. And a massive thank you to the all the familes who went along to support

🟢 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗽 🟢

An amazing afternoon in memory of an amazing woman.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for the inaugural Gail Stafford Memorial Cup match as Bedlington FC and Bedlington United coaches took each other on at Bedlington Academy.

A brilliant match with a great turn out and an awesome showing by all the coaches who took part.

Congratulations to Bedlington FC who came away with a 6-1 victory (a scoreline that probably doesn't do justice to the Utd team).

More important than the scoreline though is the money being raised for Live Well With Cancer and Wansbeck Palliative Care in honour of Gail's memory.
