Bedlington Terriers U11’s Locos entertained Ellington Eagles at Meadowdale in a match both sides desperately wanted to win to gain promotion from the U11 Bundesliga.

The Locos pressed well but found it difficult to break through a resolute Eagles defence and a goalkeeper who was in good form. As they struggled to find any real rhythm rivals Ellington took advantage of some errors to put the game beyond the reach of the Locos.

With two games to go the outcome of the season is firmly in the hands of the young Terriers - the target - six points.

Bedlington Terriers U11’s Steelers travelled to Felling Magpies for their U11 Eredivisie clash knowing only a victory would keep up their hopes of clinching a promotion spot.

An entertaining game played in the right spirit entertained the crowd from start to finish.

Two games to go and that promotion spot is still in our hands.
