What a scorcher of a day we had for the 2026 AAA Championships, where we not only won the Ladies & Youth 520kg title, but won it for the eighth consecutive year! 💪🥇

The rest of the day took us to two open weights, where we came out with a silver in the 560, and an all-Bedford final in the 540, with Bedford B just edging out Bedford A to the gold 🥇🥇🥈

As we moved onto the final weight, we once again teamed up with our friends over at Anstey TOW to not only field two super mixed 4x4 teams, but both come out in the top two 🥇🥈

While we don’t like to get too hung up on results, yesterday was a special one for us. The hard work is starting to pay off, but as ever, there’s plenty more to do before the 2026 National Championships 💪

A huge thanks to The Tug of War Association - England for a fantastic day of competition.

Day two at TTV VIOS Bison gave us two mixed teams in a very competitive 580. We had a few good ends between us all, and while no medals were won, the company was second to none. Thank you Anstey TOW! 💪

🥇🥈🥈 This weekend’s adventure took us over to Shropshire for the Midland Open Championships, where we had a rather good day out!

We started with a win in the 560, followed by a silver in both the 540 and 520. Our 600 had a good go with the men, before we ventured back over to the (literal) trenches of the 4x4 with Anstey TOW. Our mixed finished 4th, while Anstey came in second.

A huge thanks to The Tug of War Association - England and Karl Bohanan for organising another great day of competition. We had a great day!

In fact, we had such a good time, we’re going to do it all again on Friday AND Saturday this week in Holland at the TTV VIOS Bison international 🇳🇱

Coming in a day late on our report from the weekend, but we had a lovely day out at Melton Mowbray Ladies Tug of War Team’s competition on Sunday!

We had plenty of competitive, yet really rewarding, pulling with the absolute highlight of the day coming in our silver medal seven-side 520🥈

The heavier weights were a bit tougher, but our 560 finished second in the group and just missed the finals, and our 540 took a credible fourth. A huge thanks to East Anglia Tug of War Club, Bedfordshire Tow, and Melton Mowbray Ladies for helping us out this weekend 🫶

A huge thank you to Melton Mowbray Ladies for hosting us, and to The Tug of War Association - England for another great day of pulling. We’re back to work this week ahead of next weekend at the Midland Championships in Shropshire. Onwards! 💪

🥇🥇🥇 Winners are grinners after a brilliant day of strong competition at Lincoln TUG of WAR’s annual competition!

The day got underway with the 560, where we came out with the win, before taking the win in the 520, and then finally, another win in the 540 to go straight through the card 💪

With a few new faces, and a few new line ups to try, it was a really productive day. There’s plenty to build on, but there’s equally plenty to be proud of too 💙

Thank you to Lincoln for a really good day (and for ordering the us sunshine after a few Baltic weekends), and as always, to The Tug of War Association - England.
