Saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Dave Bartlett, known to many as Burt. I am glad the club was able to facilitate his love and growth of the sport. A quiet unassuming man with a big heart, Burt leaves behind Ella and Pat and will be sadly missed on many of the sporting grounds around Herts, Beds and Northants.

Evening all,

For those of you who braved the cold today, thank you.

You will also be aware that like most things, all good things come to an end. The ground will look to re structure in to 2023 and will come back as a smaller sport trap and training facility. That does unfortunately mean the end of our 100 English sporting as you know it.

We thank everyone who has made the ground what it is the past 6 years. It’s been a blast. Albeit, a cold blast today. It’s been an absolute experience during this time and we have certainly enjoyed seeing so many shooters evolve and develop. More importantly, it has brought strangers together that will continue to shoot as friends.

Keep an eye on here for what we are planning in 2023 and come try the sport trap. Have a great Christmas break.

Good evening all, The ground will be open on Sunday 11th December from 0900hrs. Come along and have a shoot as this will be our final shoot of 2022. 100 English Sporting over 10 stands. Cakes are very welcome. 🤪

Our guns will remain quiet for tomorrow to respect those who have given their all in the many conflicts of the past and to those that continue to give their all on the battlefields of today. War may have changed but grief and loss remain very much the same.
