Congratulations to Mr dependable and club captain Sean Moran winning mangers player after yet another constant season and to Dan Webb winning players player, fine example of a team man, puts 100% in to every game and gets on with his buisness with no problems at all.

League cup (13 nov)
Bedfont Sunday 1-4 Ivy Leaf

Always going to be a tough game playing a team not only in the league above but that are top in that league.

Bedfont Started well in the game, went hard at ivy leaf early, rushed them, gave them no time on the ball and was rewarded with a goal, a looping header from Ridley (queue his custom celebrations swearing at everyone).
We didnt really kick on from that and the game evened out, ivy scored soon after with a sloppy goal, having the luck of the bounce in the box falling to the feet of their forward just a yard out from goal.
Soon after we went 2-1 down but managed to still keep ourselves in the game before eventually being deflated with a very sloppy 3rd before half time...(Say no more)
2nd half we gathered our selves, played reasonably well but could not find a way back into the game and ivy added 1 more just before the end.

The result does not really reflect the performance but we must improve when returning to the league!

MIDDLESEX COUNTY INTERMEDIATE CUP

Hayes 5 - 3 Bedfont Sunday

Goal scorer: D.Green 2, K.Keith

Poor result against a side we comfortably beat earlier on in the league and it wasnt helped going with players not turning up when needed/expected or at all, less said the better! Unlucky to those that put in the effort.

We look to have a week off this coming sunday, we rest and get back to winning ways the following week!

Bedfont sunday 1-4 Rstar

No shame in taking this as our 1st defeat of the season aginst arguably the best team in the league and a team packed with players playing in semi pro leagues.
Again our attitude was spot on all working hard, game plan was working well but a couple of goals pehaps gifted and that could have avoided meant we had to change that at half time but mistakes can or will happen when you're chasing a lot of the ball.
We can take postives from our overall performance and move on to the next game!

Bedfont Sunday 3-2 Prince of Wales

We come away with the win today but we did make it hard for ourselves.
In control of things in the 1st half, playing reasonably well and looking comfortable going into half time 1 up.
2nd half was a completely different game, got too complacent and let them back into it, 1-1, luckily we scored 2 goals in quick secession but against the run of play.
Eventually we ran out 3-2 winners and although our 2nd half performance was not good enough we still come away with the 3 points and thats what matters, grinding out the right result!

We keep on rolling!

Another gritty and satisfying performance to earn ourselves a good point!
Last season or 2 we probably would have folded going a goal behind after putting in so much effort against a decent team but this year we are all pulling our weight to get a positive result, win or draw! Could also say a little unlucky not to come away with all 3 given a few opportunities but all in all we have to be happy!
We keep moving forward!

The new season and regime is under way and off a great start beating Hayes Town with a convincing and solid performance.
Great attitude from everyone involved and sets the standards for the rest of the season.

Yesterday David Forgali confirmed that he can no longer commit to playing Sundays.
David was with us for 7 seasons and was a big part of our team on and off the pitch, living for nutmegs and scoring some worlidies, non better or bigger than the 3Rd goal in the 2017 final that saw us take the trophy back to Bedfont.

Dave leaves on good terms and with class thanking the gafa, his family and the team for making him feel welcome, that is how we know he appreciated everything done for him at Bedfont and we appreciate him as a player and a friend, we will miss you celebrating nutmegs like a goal and will always be welcome back to watch, train play or just a drink.
