☀️Outdoor season starting☀️

Our green officially opens on Saturday 25th April from 11am. Please feel free to come along and enjoy a friendly game of bowls. Just remember to wear flat shoes.

Most Saturday afternoons throughout the season we will also be hosting coaching sessions. So please come along and join in.

We will also hold BBQ roll-ups over the summer. Dates to be announced.

Well we have been very quiet on here during what was a very busy season!

We will be providing a look back at the season and some of the achievements of the club and also individual successes over the next few weeks. We first start with the club presentation evening that took place a few weeks ago

We have attached a few photos of the buffet spread, Cathy with her Ladies Singles Trophy, Chris and Ruth with the Mixed Pairs Plate, Maureen and David with the Mixed Pairs Cup, Maureen with the replica Hadleigh Cup (as we are still to receive the original) and Darren with both his Gents 2 and 4 Wood Singles Trophies together with the replica Benacre League Winners Cup (as the original is yet to be presented.)

Huge thanks to Sarah The Club at 2 London Road for putting the evening on and providing the buffet

🌟Open Day🌟Coaching Day🌟

Last Saturday we welcomed players into the club, some who have experienced bowls before and some who have not. It was a fantastic day with a good turnout, and from the day we now have more new members at the club!

This weekend we invite players new and returning, to our coaching day, we have a qualified coach available between 11 and 2, so if you want to learn how to improve your game, or to simply have the guidance whilst learning to play, make sure you come down!

Still not sure what bowls is about? Why don’t you come down and watch a game

We have a cup game this Friday at 6:30, and our first league game on Monday evening at 6:45

🌟 Attention current bowlers and anyone looking to come and try the sport 🌟

We have some key dates for the diary over the next few weeks 🗓️

- 12th April - Official opening of the Green

- 19th April - Open Day (10am -4pm)

- 26th April - Coaching day (10am - 4pm)

If you’re looking for something to do during the summer months as part of a team in an inclusive atmosphere then bowls could be the sport for you!

Our open days are open to everyone so why not come and have a go
