The BCLGA County Championship got under way at Woburn GC yesterday incorporating the Intermediate Cup & Seniors Championship: a full field tackled the Dukes course with the afternoon round briefly interrupted by a thunderstorm - nevertheless some great scores from some new (and more mature) talent. Winner of the Intermediate Cup: Amelia Curtis (Lambourne). Best Net over 18 holes: Georgina Grieve (Woburn) just 11 years of age. Seniors Champion: Susanna Mitterer (Woburn). Winners of the Team comp - Woburn: Jamie Hartwell, Fran Leach and Georgina Grieve

Our first 2nd team county league match of the season. A draw v Berkshire at Royal Ascot golf club. We drew the morning foursomes 1.5 to 1.5 and both teams won 3 and lost 3 of the afternoon singles to make the final result a draw 4.5 points for each county.

A Bucks combined 1st/2nd team played a friendly match at Ellesborough against Bedfordshire on Sunday 26th April. The match consisted of two foursomes and three singles.
Three of the matches were very close ending on the18th. Overall Bucks came out on top in the match 3-2.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon with good golf played in a friendly spirit.
