Hastings official model flying club Hastings Model Flying Club is an affiliated BMFA RC Club
for plane and helicopter pilots. We are based on the A259 pevensey by-pass
in East Sussex.

We boast a membership of over 150 and
own the 15 acres of prime unobstructed flying land we're
based on

Hello every one last weekend of May is our first fly in and training day of the the year! The training day is perfect for those looking to qualify for A or B certificates! There will be instructors and examiners on the day! The rest of the weekend will be lots of flying and then a free bbq to all members! Hope to see you there

Hello all

The dates for our fly-in events this year are.

29/30/31 May.

31July to 1st of August with the BMFA SE Area scale day on the Sunday. Possible swap meet on this day!
September fly in to be announced

Camping is available from the Wednesday before to the Wednesday after each of these weekends! First May fly in is members only for camping so please book in good time!

Let's hope for nice hot summer season and lots of flying.

The JSM Xcalibur + plus , powered by Jets Munt Merlin 166 , PowerBox Electronics , OMG servos , Electron retracts & Brain cube lighting .

AUW 14.5KG including 4L fuel , a larger version of the original .
Brilliant work sammy and looking forward to its maiden flight :)

Spec is:- 2.2 Meter span with a 17 Kg thrust Jets Munt turbine. AUW is 13Kg less fuel (4kgs), total take of weight 17Kgs or 1 to 1 power to weight ratio.
