The girls returned to league action after attending the Blackpool Cup last weekend.
With a cold Easterly blowing across the pitch, the girls controlled the match from kick off showing composure and strength from back to front.
With most of the first half played in the Currie half, it was only a matter of time before the deadlock was broken with Evie firing us ahead with a low strike passed the Currie keeper.
Currie had a couple of ventures into our half but the defence were solid and cut everything out.
Into the second half and a kick-off masterclass between Ellie, Abbie & Bruna with 3 passes between them and some lovely skill and fierce shot from Abbie put us 2-0 up within 30 seconds.
It was 3-0 moments later with Abbie firing a looping shot over the keeper from just outside the box.
Abbie rounding off her hat-trick with another mazy run from midfield and with a bullet strike, the keeper got a hand to it but could only force it on to the post and it bounced in! 4-0.
Ellie rounding off the scoring to make it 5-0 with a left footed shot from the centre of the box.
All round a great performance from everyone.
Player of the match today way Niamh who never put a foot wrong going forward or in defence.
