As the West Lothian League season comes to a close, we'd like to congratulate East Calder on securing the Under-15s league title. A fantastic achievement over the course of the season – well done to everyone involved.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors, Taylor Wimpey, Bobby's, RDP Heating & Plumbing and Holcim, for their support throughout the year. Your backing helps make opportunities like this possible for the boys.

To our supporters, thank you for turning up week in, week out, in all weathers to cheer the team on. Your encouragement from the sidelines is always appreciated by the players and coaches alike.

Most importantly, congratulations to the boys on a strong league campaign. Finishing 5th in a highly competitive division with a record of 11 wins, 10 defeats and 3 draws is a testament to the effort, commitment and development shown throughout the season.

The league campaign may be over, but there's still one big game to go. We wish the boys the very best as they prepare for the County Cup Final on Saturday 13th June.

FULL TIME | Whites 1-1 Broxburn Badgers

Our final league match of the season ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Broxburn Badgers.

With little separating the sides, the game was finely balanced throughout and finished goalless at the break. Both teams controlled possession well through midfield, which limited clear-cut opportunities at either end, although the match lacked the intensity we've become accustomed to from previous meetings.

The visitors broke the deadlock in the second half, but the boys responded well and showed good character to get themselves back into the game. Casey was on hand to find the equaliser and ensure we finished our league campaign with a point.

While it wasn't a classic, there were still plenty of positives to take from the performance as we now turn our attention to an even bigger challenge ahead. In two weeks' time, we'll meet Broxburn Badgers once again in the County Cup Final, where both teams will be looking to finish the season on a high.

⚽ FINAL LEAGUE MATCH OF THE SEASON ⚽

The Whites are back at home this weekend as we take on Broxburn Badgers in our final league match of the season.

The Badgers have edged both meetings so far this year, but they've been two closely fought contests and we're determined to finish the league campaign on a high.

Come along and get behind the boys one last time in league action this season. Your support makes a huge difference! πŸ‘βš½

Tough one to take for the boys today as we went down 2-1 to league leaders Armadale in a really competitive game.

Armadale took the lead just before half time through a well worked free kick. Adam produced a brilliant save to push the initial effort onto the crossbar, but unfortunately the rebound came back off him and into the net with the luck falling kindly for the home side.

The Whites responded well in the second half and got themselves back into the game through a superb set piece of our own. Rory delivered an excellent corner into the back post area where Cory rose highest to head the ball back across goal and into the net for a deserved equaliser.

With the game looking like it might end level, Armadale grabbed a last minute winner from another free kick into the box, scrambling the ball home in a crowded area.

Massive credit to the boys for their effort and attitude throughout against a strong Armadale side who remain top of the league with one game to go.

The boys are back in league action tomorrow morning with an 11:30am kick-off away to Armadale at Volunteer Park.

This will be the third meeting between the sides this season, with the previous two encounters both narrowly going Armadale’s way by 2-1 and 3-2 scorelines. The boys will be looking to build on recent performances and put in another strong display as we head into the penultimate league match of the campaign.

With the season nearing its conclusion, the squad are determined to finish strongly and hopefully turn those close results into a positive one tomorrow.

The Whites started brightly against East Calder and took the lead early on after a strong opening spell. A close finish from Cory with the ball dropping to him from a quality corner from Stuart.

East Calder responded well though and managed to turn the game around before halftime, taking a 2-1 lead into the break.

The second half was full of effort and character from the boys, who battled hard to get themselves back into the game. They pushed forward and continued to compete right until the end, but just couldn’t find the equaliser their work rate deserved. With around 12 minutes remaining, East Calder scored again to make it 3-1 and put the result beyond reach.

Despite the disappointment, there were plenty of positives in the performance, particularly the attitude, commitment and fight shown throughout the second half.

Full-time: 2–2 vs Blackburn United Blacks.

Fourth meeting of the season and it’s been some battle between the sides – one league win each, a cup win for us, and tonight’s one ending all square. Probably a fair result overall.

We were excellent in the first half, moving the ball really well and going in 2–0 up thanks to goals from Jack H and Casey. Second half was much more backs to the wall as they came at us and pulled it back to 2–2.

The low sun made it tough for defenders and goalkeepers at both ends, with both teams conceding into it – definitely played its part in the game.

Plenty of positives from a really strong first-half performance. A much needed rest for the boys this weekend and then we go again for our final 3 league matches ahead of the County Cup Final πŸ’ͺ

A strong start saw us go in 2-0 up at half time, with Jack H grabbing both goals after some sharp attacking play.

Struan extended the lead to 3-0 early in the second half, but Blackburn responded with two quick goals to make it a real contest. The momentum was with them until Logan produced a vital penalty save at a crucial moment to keep us in front.

That proved to be the turning point. Jack completed his hat-trick with a composed finish, before Noah added another from close range to seal the win.

At one stage it could have gone either way, but the boys dug deep and showed great character to get the victory.

Next up: Blackburn United Blacks in the league at home on Thursday β€” another big one πŸ”₯
