Great turn out for Dave's Tuesday morning Cast and Cake this week..... although it looks like the cake to trout ratio may have favoured one side.

If you haven't attended before, this is a great club event and opportunity to fish, socialise and meet fellow club members in a friendly environment. Expect plenty of laughter. Just bring a cake along and you'll be in good company.

Want to get involved and not a member, we are now down to our last 2 remaining memberships and then the club is full until someone leaves. So don't delay and get in touch before we run out of spaces.

A good mornings graft at today's work party. Some great progress clearing the w**d from the creek, tree "pruning" for casting clearance and general maintenance tidy-up to keep the swims and lake in tip top condition..... i even managed to sneak i a cheeky couple of casts and a fish at the end. Thanks to everyone who contributed (especially the new members) and helped make the lake as nice as it is. We will be stocking again soon so this work will all be worth the effort. 👏👏

Great afternoon had by all at our first corporate event for 2026. Plenty of first time guests catching a trout on their first outing. Hopefully you're now "hooked" on a new hobby.

Huge thank you to all club and committee members for their hard work, help, tuition, equipment and catering!

The lake's hotting up - Open for not much more than 24 hours and we're already hearing 25+ trout have being caught and returned on the first day! All healthy, fighting hard with some chunky ones amongst the stockeys. Looks like a good spring season ahead for the club. Tight Lines!!

For those who don't know us, we're a small "members only" lake on the outskirts of Cambridge. We are still accepting new membership requests from Anglers at all levels. If you haven't fished before and always wanted to learn, our club has a good mix of all experience levels—from seasoned regulars to complete beginners.

With some of our more experienced members happy to get involved in free tuition and we’ll have plenty of spare equipment available if you need it.
