People often see the walks, the adventures and the cute photos I send across.
What they don’t always see is the washing machine on its third cycle of the day, the muddy paw prints you’ve just cleaned off the new floor, or the messages you’re answering before work, after work and somehow in between 🤣
Looking after other people’s dogs is one of the loveliest things we do, but it’s also inviting them into our actual lives. They’re in our home, on our walks, in our routines and usually taking over most of the sofa.
This photo was taken first thing in the morning before the day properly started, and I remember looking at Ekko thinking, “well, you’re having a better week than I am” 😂
And then you look down at a face like this and remember exactly why you’ve built so much of your life around dogs that aren’t even your own 🩵🐾
