WOOF WOOF 🐶
My handler left his log in open on Facebook, so wanted to share a poem with you.. and a selfie...

I sniff through the terminal, nose in the air,
Every suitcase I see it’s like “ooh what’s in there”.
I’m not just a dog—I’m a search dog on paws,
Keeping you all safe, enforcing the laws.

The humans rush past with their tickets and dreams,
But I’m searching for items in zippers and seams.
One sniff, two sniffs—my tail starts to wag,
No danger today, just a holiday bag.

My reward? Not medals, not ribbons or fame,
Just a bright yellow tennis ball—oh, what a game!
I leap, I catch, the world feels right,
Then back to my duty, sharp as the night.

So, if you see me working, don’t call me away,
I’m Jasmine the Police Dog, keeping threats at bay.
And when the day’s done, with my head held high,
You know you’ll be safe as you head to the skies.

Our lovely Deborah in Procurement retired today. Wishing her a wonderful relaxing time but we are really going to miss her 🥲
