Sports pitches across the area — including our home of Maslin Park — are increasingly being affected by dog mess, and it’s becoming a genuine problem for the teams and community groups who rely on these spaces.
We’re launching our **No Pooping on the Pitch** campaign to remind everyone that while we truly do love dogs, their poo has no place on a playing surface.
Please be mindful, pick it up, and help us keep our pitches clean, safe, and ready for sport.
Thank you for doing your part to look after Maslin Park and other sports pitches in the area.

The club is so sad to hear of the sudden passing of David ‘Whiity’ Whittaker.

Whitty played for the club for a few seasons at the end of the 1990’s. He was a very talented and intelligent player with a big personality, who should have played at a higher level.

Thanks for the memories, you will be missed mate but never forgotten ⚓️⚓️💛💙⚽️⚽️

Island Marine Football Club was established in 1993 and has proudly served the Vale of Glamorgan for over three decades.
Based at Maslin Park, the club has grown into a thriving hub for local football, offering opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

From its earliest days, Island Marine has been built on the dedication of volunteers, whose passion and commitment continue to drive the club forward.

Today, Island Marine fields an impressive range of teams:
3 senior sides competing across local leagues
1 youth team preparing players for the step into senior football
6 junior teams providing a pathway for young talent
6 mini teams introducing children to the game in a fun, supportive environment
1 girls team promoting inclusivity and growth in the women’s game

Island Marine is proud to be a grassroots organisation that welcomes everyone, whether they are aspiring players, supportive parents, or loyal fans.
