The golf course has never looked greener or more vibrant, and I honestly can’t remember seeing such a stunning contrast between the deep green fairways and a crystal-clear blue sky.

These photos show just how spectacular yesterday was at Brynhill.

A huge thank you to our Course Team, who continue to produce an outstanding golf course despite working in some very warm conditions. Their hard work certainly isn’t going unnoticed. In fact, yesterday a visitor from a local golf club completed his round, walked straight into the office and joined as a Full Member, saying:

“I now realise what a good golf course should look like.”

There really isn’t a better compliment than that.

I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved at Brynhill Golf Club – our Course Team, Pro Shop staff, Clubhouse Team, catering team and office, and the fantastic volunteers who all play such an important role in making Brynhill the special place it is.

☀️ It’s going to be a warm one out on the course today! ⛳🔥

This is a slightly unusual view looking back down towards the corner of our 13th hole.

📍 Taken from just above the right-hand bunker, this hole has really matured into one of the course’s hidden gems. Although it’s a short dogleg par 4, don’t let the yardage fool you! 💪

🎯 The key is accuracy from the tee. Position your drive correctly and you’ll still be faced with an uphill blind approach shot that demands excellent judgement.

⛰️➡️⛳ And if you manage to find the putting surface, take your time! The 13th green has to be in the top three trickiest greens on the course. Read it carefully, trust your line, and don’t be surprised if it catches you out! 😅

Today we are delighted to host our annual Barry RFC v Brynhill Golf Club match.

This long-standing fixture is all about friendship, community and a bit of healthy competition as two fantastic local clubs come together for a day of golf, laughter and camaraderie.

A huge thank you goes to our course team, who have prepared the course magnificently for the occasion. The course is looking superb and ready to welcome our visitors from Barry RFC.

We would like to extend a warm Brynhill welcome to everyone attending and wish all players an enjoyable day both on and off the course.

🌦️ Rain or no rain?

Despite the gloomy sky this morning, today's forecast is looking pretty good!

This stunning view is from our 13th green. The greens are rolling beautifully, the course is in fantastic condition, and it's a great day to be out on the course at Brynhill.

Looking back towards the approach into the 17th green at Brynhill ⛳

The key from the tee is finding enough fairway to give yourself a clear line into the green. Leave it too short and you're faced with a much tougher approach, having to carry the tall gorse guarding the right side.

At just 375 yards from the back tees, it may not be the longest hole on the course, but it certainly demands good positioning and can catch out even the most confident golfers.
