A brilliant, hard-fought match today against Barrow Celtic, with the Yellows showing fantastic character to come from two goals behind and take the win! 💪💛

Barrow Celtic started strongly and put us under real pressure, racing into a two-goal lead. But the Yellows never gave up, kept battling and worked their way right back into the game.

From there, the boys kept pushing, battling for every ball and produced a superb team performance to turn the game around and get the victory. 👏

Saturday morning football…..

The yellows were back today at Biggar bank to continue pre season this time against barrow island under 10s…

Big thankyou to barrow island for venturing over the bridge to a windy walney for some great football for all to witness…

The yellows were brilliant from start to finish today after Wednesdays hard fought game they changed style and went to free flowing passing game with plenty of action goals team work and some individual brilliance…

It’s great to see the boys in this flow stepping up was never going to be easy but they playing like they have been here for a long time…

Credit to all our players today on taking a win and a big team performance

Game day walney yellows…..

Another pre season game took the yellows to crooklands under 10s and what a game it was against top quality opposition…

The boys were great tonite couldn’t be prouder of them the way they stepped a level and played some great football so early in this new season at a level above….

Working really hard as a team and scoring some great goals along the way the boys keep going from strength to strength and the hard work in training is certainly paying off

The yellows continued pre season today against barrow island under 10s a team they will be seeing more off in the new season and new league….

Firstly a big thankyou to mark and the barrow island team for the game today at a very windy walney football is definitely back….

Yellows were superb again today working hard as team showing lots of great passing and moving team work tackling and some great goals and with a clean sheet to top things off in a great Saturday morning…

Couldn’t be prouder of them the way they have stepped up to this challenge and the way they are working as a team on the pitch…

Everybody was player of the match today again a great team performance it had everything…

Pre season has started ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Football has returned and on a beautiful Saturday morning down bigger bank it started with a bang

Yellows vs barrow island u11s girls was the game today and everyone was treated to sunshine and great football

Both sides played great football today it’s a step up for the boys in yellow this season on a bigger pitch and 7 a side but today they did not let the new challenges affect them in fact they embraced and played some unbelievable football and football we knew they were capable off when we took this challenge on….

From start to finish the boys were great and not so much the goals that we focused on but all round play was superb passing it around the field finding space looking for each working as a team all the things we have worked on the last 6 months in preparation for this challenge really shone today and as coaches we couldn’t be happier….

Everyone was superb in new roles aswell new formations and on a new size pitch they adapted brilliantly so everyone was player of the match this week it’s great first step and although challenges will come we will be right behind them all the way to celebrate the good stuff and pick them up on the hard days….well done boys it’s a great start
