First game of the season

Not the result we wanted but once they found their feet they all played really well, first 5-10 mins of the game is where it cost us the most we just couldnt get into it sadly but after that the lads dug in got into the game and we seen 2 well taken goals

Man of the match went to Luke, he got stuck in today did everything asked off him, it was a unanimous decision between the 3 coaches and his team mates agreed 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆

Today the juniors decided after working really hard the past couple of months to put their boots to one side and just go and have some fun at Lakes Laser Tag, thanks for having us.

What a great day it has been, there has been lots of laughs and team work and they all just had such a great time. While football is the main focus keeping it positive and building friendships for a life time is also important.

Also one of our players who was sailing through Norway couldn't make presentation so we presented him with his trophy today, well deserved coaches award. Every week he turns up with a smile on his face, keeps it positive, gives it his all and has made great progress this season 👏🏻 🏆🏅

Today our U14s hosted barrow wanders for a friendly down at The Brit, after not playing a single game since the start of May and training really hard the boys were itching to get to it and they put on a good display of football.

The game was action packed and played in great team spirit with great sportsmanship both sides. Britannia were first off the mark with Travis getting us on the score sheet in his debut.

A few mins before half time wanderers managed to equalise with a well taken goal going into half time 1-1.

Second half the brit came back out fighting for it and Travis put another in the back of the net assisted by Warren. Wanderers again equalised making it 2-2 however Archie managed to slip one passed their keeper also on his debut making it 3-2 final score.

Hats off to both teams some good football from both 👏🏻 ⚽️

Player of the match went to Travis he ran his little socks off all game, bagged 2 goals and an assist on his debut, brilliant first game 🏆🏅

Huge welcome to all our new signings all played really well ⚽️

Parents vs Kids

Today we kicked off presentation day with a good ole parent vs kids, but who enjoyed it more the kids or the big kids 👀🤣

Fun was had by all, a great chance for the plyers, parents and even siblings to come together and just have some fun.

Of course the sun was shining too so afterwards hot dogs, cakes and of course ice creams to cool down were enjoyed by all 🌞 ⚽️

SEEKING GOALKEEPER
Now that we have finished our u13s season we are seeking a more permanent keeper, with our current keeper keen to return outfield over the spring we are looking to take on another keen keeper to take on the role, if your child is interested get in touch ⚽️ this will be ready for our u14 season.

Couple of our recent man of the matches

Kai grabbed Man of the match last Saturday vs walney in a fast pace game the team managed to bag a few goals but kai pulled out all the stops in nets pulling off some great saves and putting in a top effort.

On Tues evening we took on tigers, in what we knew from the off would be an extremely tough game against a strong side Man of the match went to Jack he never gave up despite the odds being stacked against us and he took the second half in nets pulling off some great saves for the team.

Well done both 👏🏻 ⚽️
