SEEKING GOALKEEPER
Now that we have finished our u13s season we are seeking a more permanent keeper, with our current keeper keen to return outfield over the spring we are looking to take on another keen keeper to take on the role, if your child is interested get in touch ⚽️ this will be ready for our u14 season.

Couple of our recent man of the matches

Kai grabbed Man of the match last Saturday vs walney in a fast pace game the team managed to bag a few goals but kai pulled out all the stops in nets pulling off some great saves and putting in a top effort.

On Tues evening we took on tigers, in what we knew from the off would be an extremely tough game against a strong side Man of the match went to Jack he never gave up despite the odds being stacked against us and he took the second half in nets pulling off some great saves for the team.

Well done both 👏🏻 ⚽️

U13s vs Barrow Wanderers
Today the u13s played away hosted by Wanderers, in the first half despite multiple shots we couldn't find the back of net meaning at half time we were 1-0 down.

Into the second half wanderers bagged another, but being 2-0 down the brit decided to put in their absolute all multiple shot again and we brought it back winning 3-2 💪🏻⚽️

The back line held much better today they improve every week, Eman as always was solid left back, while Prestyn took on a new position trying right back where he was awesome. Centre backs Jaiden and Jack made the dream duo their communication and bond there is excellent.

Marshall had plenty of shots / chances so the coaches were made up for him when he found back of net. Tommie got 2 great goals one from a corner he took 💫👀

Kai was great in goals as always never ceases to do his team proud.

Midfield in the centre tommie riley, jacque and jacob which they all held really well, kept winning the ball back and they struggled to get through the middle. right and left mids were played by Leighton Serg, Josh and a stint for Riley who all played some excellent balls through to the strikers.

Strikers Marshall, Jenson and maddox all played excellent and pressed all game, they had plenty of shots along with tommie pressing throughthe middle.

Josh changed it up tried a new position today giving right mid ago today and held it really well.

Extremely proud of them all and really hard decision today but man of the match was Prestyn that was his best game to date he was excellent all round and in the last 10mins when they tried to push back he had them in his pocket and left them no time or space to break through 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆

Today the sun was shining down at redwater 🌞, the u13s hosted barrow wanderers for a friendly. Wanderers were quick off the mark with an excellent corner taking the lead but it wasnt long before the brit fought back making it 3-1 to the brit at half time.

Out into the second half wanderers did make it 3-2 but then it was like the brit had rockets in their boots one after the other with some excellently worked goals, making it 6-2. Wanderers didnt stop they battled back with a last minute screamer from Marshall we made it 7-5 final score to the brit.

Some excellent link up from the attack today looks like they are finally working more as a team, mid was strong and defence is making great progress held much better today. Captain today was jack who tried to keep his team in shape througout the game.

Jacque took his first ever stint in goals for us today in the absence of kai who was sadly injured, he pulled off sone great saves throughout the game.

Man of the match went to Eman he was excellent all game, he plays with the upmost passion and never stops running 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆

Britannia U13s vs Barrow Island

Today britannia hosted barrow island and finally the sun decided to make an appearance ☀️🌤 in the first half despite battling and creating chances we couldn't find the back of the net finishing 2-0 to barrow island at half time.

Second half we came out fighting evening up the score to 2-2. We carried on battling and did bag a 3rd goal ending 4-3 to barrow island. However the whole team should be proud today battled all the way snd by far the best game we've seen them play, the improvements are showing now 👏🏻 ⚽️

Man of the match went to riley for his constant hard work and battling at the right back making lots of great clearances 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆

Both teams took part in a minutes silence today in remembrance of poppy who sadly lost her life during training a year ago, we remember ⚽️❤️

Saturday our u13s hosted a strong walney side they knew it would be a tough game from the off but battled hard and put into practice some recent work and took the lead in the first 10mins, walney battled back well and took the lead but we did bag a further 2 goals and improved the previous scoreline.

Man of the match went to tommie, he worked non stop all game and showed great passion / determination 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆

Today the u13s took the trip to bigger bank to take on a strong walney side. In the first half we struggled to find our feet but kept battling.

Second half we created chances and bagged 2 goals, could have had a couple more we were unlucky not to.

Man of the match went to Eman he was absolutely solid at the left back, he battled all game and held them off coming down the left, well done Eman 👏🏻 ⚽️🏆
