⚽️ Furness Athletic v Furness Rovers ⚽️

A disappointing point today after dominating large parts of the game. A last-second goal saw us share the points with Rovers, but there are plenty of positives to take from the performance as things are really starting to click again. 👏

The game was unfortunately affected for both teams by some very poor officiating, with some questionable decisions throughout. 👀 Our attackers were pestering the Rovers keeper all game and were unlucky not to get more from it, with some really good saves keeping them in the game.

We also made a few silly mistakes at the other end which gave Rovers opportunities, and as for the linesman… let’s just say he was flag happy! 😂👀
Overall, plenty to build on and lots of positives to take.

🏆 MOTM — Mark 🏆
Mark, as always, played with his heart on his sleeve today. He was at it from start to finish, constantly putting pressure on the opposition and working hard to win the ball back in the middle of the park.
He also showed some brilliant fast feet to get himself out of some really tight situations and kept driving the team forward.

He could easily have picked up a couple of assists today too… if the giraffe could finish! 😂🦒⚽️
