Last night we played in the t20 Cup against local rivals Furness Cricket Club, we ended up winning by 40 runs in a good game played in very warm conditions. Highlight of the evening individually was another 50 for 'The Big Show' Dave Gilmour.

Tomorrow, we host Sedgwick Cricket Club in the ICS Accounting Westmorland Cricket League after playing them away last weekend. Game starts at 1.30pm and the weather looks to be good again, the bar will be open all afternoon so please come down and enjoy the game.

Yesterday we travelled to the picturesque setting of Sedgwick Cricket Club and came out on top by 205 runs.

We lost the toss and were put into bat on what looked a good wicket and made a fairly decent start thanks to a quick 15 from Khan Puffett and an unusually scratchy 30 from Dave Gilmour but the fun really started when the 2nd wicket fell with 75 on the board. This brought Callum Muncaster to the crease along with Chris Savage and the pair proceeded to smash the ball to all parts until Savage was eventually out for 112 with the score at 302/3, the decision was made at that point to declare with 8 overs left leaving Muncaster unbeaten on 122. Two fantastic knocks and a total partnership of 227!

In reply, Sedgwick never really got going, wickets fell regularly with all 6 bowlers used taking at least one wicket and they were eventually all out for 97.

Hawcoat returned to league action today in the ICS Accounting Westmorland Cricket League and came away with a good win from the fantastic setting of Silverdale Cricket Club.

After losing the toss and being put into bat the star man was former Cumberland youth team opener David Gilmour who top scored with 73. Able supported by Matt Burrows (29) and Callum Lucas (35) we ended up very happy with a total of 222/9 from our 45 overs.

In reply, Silverdale lost wickets fairly regularly and in the end were all out for 51 after 20 overs. Captain Tom Stanwix returning to the side with excellent figures of 6 for 15 off 10 overs doing the majority of the damage.

Get well soon to the Silverdale fielder who injured a finger, Nige Maxfield who suffered a nasty looking cut to his eye while batting and Glenn Kaighan who broke his thumb on debut!

Tomorrow we head to Netherfield to try and make it a perfect 3/3 in the ICS Accounting Westmorland Cricket League 40 over cup.

Plenty of changes from last weeks win over Ingleton. Captain Tom Stanwix is away as well as regular vice captain Callum Lucas and vice vice captain Sam Cunningham is also missing so Elliot Maxfield takes the reigns for the day.

The batting is bolstered by the returning former Cumbria youth player Dave Gilmour, big hitting Gavin Dale and Hawcoat Park RUFC stalwart Bradley Liam Kendall Morrow.

The Park keep up their 100% record in the ICS Accounting Westmorland Cricket League 40 over cup with a comfortable 8 wicket win over Ingleton Cricket Club today.

Having lost the toss and being asked to bat first Ingleton ended up all out for 134 after 27 overs, Elliot Maxfield was the pick of the bowlers for Hawcoat ending up with 6 wickets for 45 from his 8 overs.

In reply, Hawcoat cruised home in 20.2 overs for the loss of only 2 wickets. Khan Puffett played very nicely before being run out by his batting partner Sam Cunningham for 47. The GOAT Callum Muncaster then saw us home with a destructive 46 not out that featured 5 6's.
