Well that’s all greens scarified , 2.5 tonnes of Sand topdressing applied , deep aerated to 8 inches with 3/4 solid tines with the wiedenmann GXI8 at 3x3 spacings , then 5 inches deep with the Pro Core with 3/4 inch tines at 2x2 spacings then brushed with the sweep and fill brush to get the sand into the holes , greens 3 & 17 had 28 bags of Zeolite applied each then 50 kg of 1-2 mm greens grade charcoal each applied and brushed into the holes to help moisture movement through the rootzone area , then topdressed and brushed again . The greens were then overseeded with a pure bent mix with the vredo at 4g/m2 and will be rolled tomorrow to return the surface levels . The greens will be given an application of Headland C Complex 5-2-10 on Monday at 35g/m2 to aid their recovery and keep them healthy going into the winter. All done in 3 days well done team superb effort .
We have started the same programme on the tees today and will continue tomorrow and next week to finish them .
