Former rival. Now a teammate. 🤝

Having played against us over the last two seasons, we already knew all about Brody’s quality. So when his dad told us he was looking for a new challenge, the Reds didn’t hesitate to say YES!

Swapping Tykes for Poggy, Brody has wasted no time showing everyone what he can do. He’s been scoring and assisting for fun throughout pre-season — even getting on the scoresheet from his own box while filling in as goalkeeper! 🚀⚽

Brody has fitted straight into the brilliant bunch we already have at Poggy, showing that he’s not only a fantastic footballer, but a great lad too.

With a thunderous strike 💥, the ability to play comfortably anywhere on the pitch and real bravery on the ball, we can’t wait to see Brody pull on the Poggy Reds shirt this season.

A player we’ve spent two seasons playing against…

JACOB #16 ✍️

They say if you can’t beat them, join them… apparently Jacob took that personally. 😂

After spending the last two seasons playing AGAINST the Reds, Jacob has finally seen the light and made the switch to Poggy. About time, mate. 👀🔴

Unfortunately, his previous team folded at the end of last season. Fortunately for us, Jacob needed a new home… and somehow we managed to convince him Poggy was a sensible choice. 😂

With a wand of a left foot and the nickname “Speedy Legs”, we’re expecting him to cause opposition defenders all sorts of problems this season. ⚡️🪄

He’s already hit the ground running too, finishing pre-season as joint top scorer. ⚽️🔥

We’re looking forward to seeing what Jacob brings to the Reds this season.

He’s back! Back for another year in the famous Poggy shirt — although negotiations were apparently pretty straightforward…

“I’ll come back, but only if I get the number 7.” 😂

We tried telling him Cristiano Ronaldo had already made it famous, but William reckons it was time for an upgrade. 👀🐐

Last season’s top goalscorer, and already leading the way in pre-season, William certainly knows where the back of the net is. But he’s not just a great goalscorer — he’s a scorer of great goals! 🚀

Next up is a lad who’s practically grown up at the club… REUBEN! 🔥⚽️

Reuben has been with the club since he was just 5 years old, and he’s now about to begin his 3rd season with this team.

One of Reuben’s biggest strengths is his versatility — put him pretty much anywhere on the pitch and he’ll do a job. 💪

And when he gets anywhere near goal… expect the unexpected. 👀

He’s got the lot.

But it’s not just the goals. Reuben has a serious eye for a long-range pass, capable of picking someone out from distance and completely opening up the pitch.

Last season, he was our defensive rock. 🧱

This pre-season? He’s already more than doubled his goal tally from the last TWO YEARS combined! ⚽🔥

When it comes to Oscar, the phrase “HERE COMES THE BOOM” springs to mind. 💥

Brave in the tackle and relentless in the challenge — when the opposition have the ball, he goes after them like they’ve just stolen his Christmas presents. 😂🎁

He sets the tone with his energy, passion, work rate and never-say-die attitude.

Strikers win games.
Defenders win championships.
But goalscoring defenders win the hearts of the fans. ❤️
