So the season starts Sunday. The time has come that’s we have all been waiting for!

These kids started together last season and impressed us a hell of a lot in there first full season, going from a brand new team where some didn’t know anything about positions and even just some basics to now been a very solid team that have started to communicate on a pitch and rely on each other,
Watching these kids grow has been a real pleasure, and seeing them come on the way they have has been amazing!

I can’t wait to see what this season and I really think we will start to prove a lot of things with how well they have improved. Pre-season has been fantastic and let’s now take this into the league!

Apparently there has been a break in the season!!! Not for our Teams here at Staincross Rangers.

Thanks to all the managers and coaches who have kept things going, put on special events, organised friendlies and tournaments and kept our kids going over the ‘break’ - The Staincross Family ❤️

WHAT A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE.

Now thats what we like to see. An absolutely brilliant game, clean sheet and plenty of goals ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Easily 9 or 10 nil if it was not for there keeper pulling some top drawer saves off. Really really solid performance from all of the team.

Before the game we said that the performance was the main aim and the result did not matter although we would like to win, but if we were to win, then a clean sheet would be nice. Delivered on all 3!!!

Small improvements… Shout out and a Thanks to one of our own, Ryan, at RGR Brothers Property Maintenance, for fixing our pipes! That’s right, the toilet now flushes and the tap works!!! 🚽🧻 Just a scrub down needed now ready for the new season starting.

How far they’ve come!!! Here is our U11 Reds who battled successive defeats in the last season but have worked their socks off over the summer to be ready for our new season in the Sheffield League.

We wrapped our season up today with a comfortable win. This means our summer friendly tally finishes:
- 8 wins
- 1 Draw
- 3 Losses

For those that know these boys, you’ll know how much of an achievement this is, and you’ll know how far they’ve come! They’ve played and trained week in and out with just a couple of short breaks here and there.

Today was brilliant. We slipped a bit in the 2nd quarter and we started panicking under pressure a bit more than we needed to. But we took stock and the boys really listened to what we said to them at the breaks. You saw them go back on and put that back into their boots.

Managers Player: We were impressed with Chris today because particularly from the first rotations we gave him some little things to work on and we saw it happen almost straight away. He listened to what we said and that helped us save goals from going in as he cleared it from the area and, after listening to us, did it more precisely and kicking it back up the pitch. Well done Chris. 💪🥅⚽️🥅

Parents Player: It was the day of the Defenders! Well done to Robbo for being parents player. Strong in defence and solid at winning that ball. Well done Robbo 💪🥅⚽️🥅
