Coach Danny -
It’s been a fantastic three years coaching these kids and an absolute pleasure.
The development of all of them has been fascinating to see not just in their football but as kids. You create a bond with the kids and they stress you out just like your own but that’s all part of the game 😃. I will miss them all and wish them all the best in there next journey through life and there football path. Go smash it 🤜.
Thank you to all the parents too who have helped us so much wether it be at training, helping out with equipment on match days, getting the team on social media, match day reports, raffles on match days, all the organising behind the scenes to arrange events and presents for the kids and raising money to help the team run successfully 🙌 🫡
And last shout out to the man who made it all happen Luke (“The Boss”), he came along to help me out three years ago and I soon promoted him to manger without him knowing 😃. The job he’s done and time he’s taken out to not just turn up to training and match days like me but to organise things for three years which has taken a lot of time, effort and stress and I appreciate all you have done to help me and the team and find it very admirable.
Sad to split up from my football wife but met a mate for life and a very good one at that 🤜.

Thank you to the most amazing group of kids who have stuck with us from day 1. You’ve listened, we’ve learnt, we’ve grown together on our journey. It’s been a pleasure to watch you develop on and off the pitch. We’ve had so many laughs and amazing moments along the way, highs and lows, moments of magic on and off the pitch. Finishing last Sunday with one of our biggest achievements; a cup win…. What a way to finish this experience together! 🏆
Thank you to all at Junior Tykes FC for your support, a great club with the kids at heart. Also thanks to all the teams we’ve met along the way! The kids, coaches and parents. We’ve had some great battles, most of which friendly 😬
Massive thank you to super Annette for being with us through it all and supporting the players from the middle as our mainstay Ref! You are one of us!
Thanks to our Tykes parents who stood in the rain with us, laughed with us, supported us, raised funds, gave your own time and energy to embrace the journey together. You’ve all helped to create a really special experience for your Tykes!
Finally, thanks to the Jason Tindall to my Eddie Howe, the Steve McLaren to my Sir Alex, the Coach Beard to my Ted Lasso. Top man, kept me sane, the football flowing and the jokes coming. Couldn’t have done it without you! Made a top friend in all this. Will see you in the pub 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Good luck to our Tykes who are carrying on their football journey with new teams and also to the ones who are moving on from football to try new experiences! Your resilience, courage and determination 👏🏼 You are amazing!
