Been a busy little pensioner bee today. Although everything rack related is at a standstill at the moment, I've been working on the cue lathe.
I have a little Axminster lathe, and it's good for tips and ferrules on cue shafts. I even did my own ferrule on my Cuetec. However, I can't yet do full length cues. So, I'm working on an extension.
Today found me sorting out a dowel to centre all the pillow blocks.
Everything is starting to take shape.

So it turns out my supplier isn't getting the new batch to me for whatever reason. In fairness to him, I have mentioned something about a complete redesign of the hinge, so I think he's decided I don't need the old design.

TBH I'm only looking at a new design. It might mot work...and it'll take time with me already having a full time job, and working on the cue lathe, and rewiring the workshop, and trying to find time for actual practice and 1.3 million other things.

The cue lathe is coming along nicely. (no it's not for making cues. It's for repairs like tips and ferrules).

Apologies to everyone if I've been a little stand-off'ish recently.
That man flu has been a royal pain for the last few weeks, but it seems to be blowing over now (I hope).

I'll be back to my usual obnoxious self in no time.
