A throwback to when Ebz really dialled things in and achieved an incredible 9kg weight loss in just 4 months. 👏

By attending our 6am sessions 3 times per week, staying active outside the gym, and remaining consistent with her habits, she created some fantastic results.

It’s a great reminder that lasting progress doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from consistency.

Show up. Put in the work. Trust the process.

And for the record, Ebz has been a member of ours for years now and somehow seems to get more glamorous and youthful as time goes on! 😅

Busy mum of 3, runner, consistent gym member… and absolutely putting in the work 👏

Carey has been balancing running, PT strength sessions with Ollie, and at least 4 group sessions a week 💪🏃‍♀️

But lately, the biggest shift has come from dialling in her nutrition 👇

“Recently I’ve focused on improving my nutrition, paying close attention to my calorie intake and protein goals, whilst cutting out the mindless snacking.

This has made a huge difference. I’m feeling stronger and more energised, which in turn means I’m more likely to stay consistent with my training.”

Consistency + better habits = big wins 🙌

💥 MOTIVATION MONDAY 💥

This week we celebrate Gary Bramall 👏

If you met Gary in the gym, you’d see someone kind, non-judgemental and hard-working — someone always willing to encourage others and quietly inspire the people around him. But behind that calm, humble presence is a story of incredible resilience.

Nearly two years ago, Gary tragically lost his wife, Sam, to Motor Neurone Disease after four years as her primary caregiver. Carrying that weight alone eventually became too much, and through therapy came an unexpected question:

“Have you ever boxed?”

That one question changed everything.

What inspires me most about Gary isn’t just the consistency he brings to training — it’s the strength, courage and vulnerability he’s shown in rebuilding himself through some of life’s darkest moments.

As men, we don’t always talk about the things weighing us down. We bottle things up, carry the pressure and try to just “get on with it.” Gary is a reminder that strength isn’t suffering in silence — sometimes strength is finding an outlet, asking for help and giving yourself permission to heal.

For Gary, boxing isn’t about aesthetics.

It’s about mental strength. Clarity. Perspective.

In his own words:

“Boxing calms my mind, reframes my problems and is the only thing that completely switches my brain off.”

I am genuinely inspired by Gary and honestly in awe of the way he has handled adversity. I’m incredibly proud of him, and honoured that he found Box Sport when he needed it most.

As Gary approaches 50, he’s proof that strength isn’t just what you see on the outside. Sometimes the biggest transformations happen within.

Massive shoutout to Nick for absolutely smashing our 28 Day Momentum Challenge 👏

This wasn’t a weight loss challenge — it was all about building momentum, consistency and focus heading into summer. Members earned points by:

✅ Showing up to sessions
✅ Staying accountable in the group chats
✅ Putting in extra work with steps & strength sessions

Nick embraced the process from start to finish, stayed consistent throughout, supported the community, and trusted the plan 💥

And as a by-product of all that hard work? He’s heading away feeling fitter, stronger and 5kg lighter 🙌

🔥 MEMBER MOTIVATION – Meet Barry 🔥

Retirement could have meant slowing down… but for Barry, it became the start of a new chapter.

After retiring last year, Barry made a choice: stay active, stay positive, and show up for himself every single day. You’ll find him at BoxSport 5 days a week, putting in the work, alongside home treadmill sessions and weights.

Life hasn’t been without challenges. In January, Barry experienced a suspected brain seizure, spent time in hospital and had to give up his driving licence. But rather than seeing it as a setback, Barry chose to focus on the positives — walking more, training more, and continuing to move forward.

What inspires us most? Barry’s mindset extends far beyond the gym. From supporting elderly ladies through volunteering, to caring for vulnerable family members and being a companion for those receiving end-of-life care, Barry embodies what it means to make a difference.

Barry reminds us that resilience isn’t about having an easy journey — it’s about how you respond when life gets tough.

🚨 MOTIVATION MONDAY 🚨

When Gina first walked through our doors, she wanted to try something new… adding strength and HIIT training alongside her already impressive running ability 👏

Since then, she’s balanced running, group sessions and 1-1 coaching like an absolute machine 💪
The result? Stronger. Fitter. Quicker. More confident. 🔥

It hasn’t all been smooth sailing either… from a broken ankle to a recent hamstring injury, Gina has faced setbacks that would stop a lot of people in their tracks. But one thing about Gina… she never backs down from a challenge 👊

Whether it’s heavy weights, kettlebell complexes, boxing sessions or HYROX prep, she always gives 100%.

Recently Gina & Claire took on HYROX Cardiff 🏁
Going into the event, Gina was unsure if her hamstring would hold up… so we adjusted the game plan:
➡️ Stay controlled on the runs
➡️ Focus on smashing the stations
➡️ Treat it as practice for bigger performances later in the year

And despite not being fully fit… they finished:
🏆 10TH OUT OF 214 ATHLETES IN THEIR CATEGORY 😳🔥

That result alone is incredible… but imagine what’s coming once Gina is fully firing on all cylinders 👀💥

Massive respect for the consistency, resilience and mindset you bring every single week Gina 👏

Ivett joined Box Sport just 6 weeks ago on a 6-week program… but it already feels like she’s been part of the family forever. Her kind heart, positivity, and infectious smile light up the room every session.

What makes her story even more powerful is everything she’s overcome behind the scenes.

After years of serious illness, multiple surgeries, setbacks, and having to let go of the career she loved, Ivett could have given up. Instead, she chose to rebuild herself step by step.

Now she’s working out regularly.
Not to prove anything to anyone else — but to remind herself she’s still strong, still capable, and still fighting.

Every session is a step forward.

Good things happen to good people when they refuse to give up. ❤️

Consistency isn’t about motivation — it’s about planning.

🗓️ Every Sunday, take 5 minutes to map out:
✔️ What days you’re training
✔️ What time you’re going
✔️ What session you’re doing

Why? Because when you decide in advance, you remove the daily “should I train?” debate.

There’s solid research behind this too — it’s called an implementation intention (a concept popularised by Peter Gollwitzer).
In simple terms: people are far more likely to follow through when they clearly plan when + where they’ll take action.

No plan = guesswork
Plan = ex*****on

“Prepare or prepare to fail” isn’t just a saying… it’s how consistency is built.

Lucy is the definition of consistency — she never complains about the workout, the exercises, or the intensity… she just shows up and puts in the work every single time.

That mindset is exactly why she achieved something incredible this weekend 🏅
