A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Fairbourne Race the Train! Despite the weather it was a great event and a brilliant turn out yet again!
Special thanks to Sunbelt Rentals for managing the road closure for us free of charge. Richard did a brilliant job! Acts of kindness like this make a huge difference to us with this annual event. We are a non profit organisation ran by a handful for local working mums so any support like this is greatly appreciated!

We would also like to thank all the marshals, and volunteers who gave their time to keep everyone safe and everything running smoothly — we couldn’t have done it without you!
Thanks to all the business down the shops who stayed open later, and thank you to DJ Skywalker and blue beat for the brilliant music everyone had a blast 🎶💃big thanks to Fairbourne Railway for providing the Train for us to race and also putting on a bar for us. And Sparkle Blush for the wonderful face paint to help Everton ever into character 🦸🏼‍♀️

We have been made aware of some complaints about loud music being played until early hours, we just wanted to make clear that this was nothing to do with our organisers and DJ Skywalker was finished by 10:30PM any music after this time was nothing to do with the race the train organisers or DJ

If you haven’t already registered then don’t panic because you can still register on the day. Registration will be open from 3pm at the shops.
Don’t forget Sparkle Blush will be with us from 2pm for anyone wanting pre race face paints and sparkles ✨

Fingers crossed for dry weather 🤞🏻 if the weather doesn’t hold up then plan B will be to have the evening band down the golf club instead of the shops 🎶
