Barmouth Childcare Partnership was formed in January 2004 to bring together all people working with and for the children in our local community. We meet quarterly and have established over the years relationships with many organizations in the Gwynedd area. We have a constitution and committee members to enable us to access funding and also clearly state our aims and objectives. We have helped fun
d various training sessions, football kits, day trips, circus skills workshops, music workshops, dance workshops, leisure centre sessions including helping to fund the summer play scheme, Christmas party for 0-3 year olds, celebrating National Play Day each year, Jubilee street party and many more things are to come for the future if we can sustain help in raising sufficient funds. We have representation from other groups of the area; these include TWF, Barmouth Residents Association, Cwmni’r Bermo, health visitor, Kid's Club Wales, Genesis, Friends of Ysgol y Traeth, Gwynedd play officers and Barmouth Leisure Centre. We worked closely with the Communities First who have helped us greatly over the years in which we are extremely grateful and it was sad to see it go, we hope to carry forward a legacy that Communities First helped set up and helped with our fundraising. We now hope to keep fundraising for the future, to also apply for grants, We also look forward to a future with having new members/groups joining us and helping so that we can help keep our roles of helping children in the area.
