SILENT SUPPORT WEEKEND | 15–16 NOVEMBER

7 in 10 people said Silent Support improves behaviour on the sidelines and helps young players enjoy their game without distractions. 💬⚽️

Silent Support is positive support.
During Silent Support Weekend, applause from spectators for good play – and quiet instruction from coaches only – is welcome. Noise, abuse, complaints and parent-coaching can all have the weekend off. 🙌

This weekend, Barming Youth FC proudly supports Silent Support, an England Football initiative encouraging respect and focus on the pitch. 💚

💛 ANNUAL JOE MARKIEWICZ MEMORIAL CUP 💛

Once again, we come together to remember and celebrate the life of Joe Markiewicz, who passed away unexpectedly on 18th September 2019, aged just 16. Joe was a positive, kind and popular young man, with friends across school, football, cricket, and the wider community. He is missed every single day by all who knew him.

Joe attended Barming Primary and Aylesford School, played for Barming Youth FC and Maidstone Mote Cricket Club, and was a huge Maidstone United fan. To honour his memory, we’ll be holding a special match at the Gallagher Stadium on Friday 29th August 2025.

⏰ Kick-off: 7:45pm (Gates open at 6pm)
⚽ Teams: Barming Youth FC vs Aylesford School
🎟️ Adults: £5 | U16: £3 | U5: Free
🎁 Raffle: In the Spitfire Lounge at full-time

All proceeds go to the Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust — the incredible team who airlifted Joe to King’s College Hospital, giving his family and friends the precious time to say goodbye.

Last night’s semi-final against Italy was absolutely unbelievable. You had us on the edge of our seats right to the final whistle – and extra time too! What a performance, what passion, what a team! 🔥👏

We’ve kicked things off with two great training sessions and we’re excited for many more to come!

Our Senior Team is now up and running, and we’re looking for new players to join us across all positions.

We're looking for volunteers to assist with the following:

🍻 Saturday – Bar Sales (1-hour slots)
🧹 Saturday – Housekeeping
