Blackwood hosted the boys today for a fantastic game of rugby. It was hot and sunny ☀️ but they got stuck in and played their socks off. Proud of you all as always . Player of the Match goes to Callan 🐂💙🏉

Brilliant training session last night and the sun finally made an appearance 🌞 well done all your work and commitment is truly paying off.
It was also coach Kat’s Birthday so we had cake . Happy Birthday 🎂

This weekend our U9’s headed off to West Wales for the St Clears Rugby festival! A wonderful time was had by all - players and parents alike!

The boys played their socks off yesterday - each and every one of them put in a massive shift and showed what they are made of - grit, determination and a warrior attitude 🏉

Saturday we had a barbecue on the beach and John Davies from Noel’s Family Butchers, who is one of our sponsors for next season, kindly provided the burgers - thank you!

Come and join Bargoed RFC U9’s – everyone is welcome! 🏉

We’re currently recruiting new players as we build our squad for the 2026/27 season when we move up to Under 10’s.

If your child wants to learn rugby, make friends and be part of a fun, inclusive team environment, we’d love to have you join us. All abilities welcome.

All players must be registered with WRU before attending a taster session.
