What better way to round off a fantastic season than spending a few days in the sun team bonding with the best bunch of people 🥰

The kids had a great time Kayaking, learning bushcraft skills and taking on the Mud Run 💪 Then on to the green for a BBQ and games 🥳

Yesterday saw Bargoed U7 & U8’s complete their 2025/2026 season with a day of rugby at our friends at Rhymney rfc rugby festival.

It was a great turn out and the weather held out thankfully.

Both sides played great opposition and really showcased their teamwork, their passing skills and running rugby.

U7’s were brilliant - got the job done with a small, but tight team. Everyone played amazing.

U8’s with their progression to under 9’s coming. They showed their maturity and some excellent passing and determination. With great passages of play against some strong opposition. We’d like to thank Nelson rfc for the lend of a player Lily. Who slotted in well with the team.

Coaches and parents were very proud of the players. 💙🏉

Yesterday concludes our rugby campaign and we have our eyes firmly fixed on our end of year trip to west wales now to let our hair down (👨‍🦲lol)

After plenty of fun and development in tag rugby, it’s time to say goodbye to the tags and take the next step in the game.

The U8's made the short trip over to Oakdale
