🔴⚫️ Introducing Our Membership Card ⚫️🔴

Last month we rolled out our new platform for managing all club operations. As part of this, all members receive a digital membership card which unlocks a range of perks from supporters and sponsors. Perks are being added on a weekly basis but we have some excellent offers to get started which we will begin to showcase over the coming weeks.

Today saw our 2017 Colts continue their run in the 7-a-side development league.

🔴⚫️Game 1: Ballysillan Swifts 🔴⚫️
The boys made a blistering start in the sweltering heat, winning a tough contest. Wyatt owned the goal, making a string of excellent saves, whilst Rory was impassible in defence. The boys showed real development, keeping their structure and width with Freddie a constant threat on one wing, scoring a cracker from a corner, and Otis on the other wing, finishing a lovey free flowing move. Caiden acted as a lynchpin in the middle, pulling the strings for the team.

🔴⚫️Game 2: Woodvale FC 🔴⚫️
The boys did brilliantly against a very strong side and were unlucky to miss out on another win. They had a great setup in defence, with Thomas solid in nets and Eddie’s excellent defensive work. Sam provided box-to-box support, with some strong tackles and forward play, supporting Otis on the wing who scored again, this time with a rocket into the roof of the net.

🏅Man-of-the-Match
Otis made a statement and stepped up to 7-a-side with a brilliant performance over both games. Fantastic work rate, both in attack and defence, capped off with 2 superb goals ⚽️⚽️

⚽️ 2018s Match Report ⚽️

The 2018s were fantastic today as they took part in the NDSSG Summer World Cup and made it all the way to the final! 🏆👏

The team were outstanding across all five matches, working tirelessly for each other and showing brilliant teamwork from start to finish. Defensively they were rock solid, keeping three clean sheets, while their pace on the break saw them score some fantastic goals throughout the tournament ⚽️🔥

It’s been brilliant to watch the progress this team has made over the course of the season, and today was a perfect example of all their hard work in training coming together on the pitch. The effort, determination and teamwork on display made everyone proud ❤️🖤

A fantastic achievement to reach the final – well done everyone!

U17 player Dylan Lynn has enjoyed an outstanding debut season with the club, stepping up to make a number of senior appearances and showing real maturity well beyond his years.

Away from matchdays, Dylan continues to give back to the club by volunteering his time as a coach with our 2021s team — something he does alongside his own youth training and matches, and whenever he’s called upon to play senior football. His commitment, attitude, and willingness to help others has not gone unnoticed.

Next month, Dylan will be taking on a challenge of a very different kind. On 28th June, he will abseil down the Europa Hotel in support of the Mae Murray Foundation, a charity that provides vital support to families during incredibly difficult times.

This is a cause that means a great deal to Dylan personally, and his motivation for taking on this challenge is explained in more detail in the link attached — we would strongly encourage everyone to take the time to read his story.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated, and sharing this post would also help raise awareness for a fantastic cause.

Best of luck, Dylan — a brilliant effort on and off the pitch, and one the whole club is incredibly proud of 👏❤️🖤

⚽️ 2015s Match Report ⚽️

Bryansburn Rangers vs Castle Juniors

A slow start saw Bryansburn go 2–0 down inside the opening minute — still waking up! 😅

But the response was superb. The team quickly settled, began competing all over the pitch, and fought back to 2–2 by half-time, with goals from Isaac and Theo 👏

With four changes at the break, Bryansburn came out a completely different side in the second half. The tempo lifted, the football flowed, and Castle simply couldn’t cope.

🔥 Isaac was unstoppable, adding another four goals to complete an incredible five-goal haul ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Liam came close to getting on the scoresheet but was denied by a fantastic save, while Zach was unlucky to see an effort crash off the crossbar. On another day, this could easily have been a double-figure scoreline.

There were strong performances right across the pitch, with Jay and Frankie outstanding in defence, and the midfield controlling the game throughout 💪

🌟 Man of the Match: Isaac – a phenomenal performance with five goals to his name.

Brilliant effort all round — Uppa Burn 🔥🔴⚫️
