Earlier this week we completed round 2 of our Kirkistown series. Meaning we are half way with 2 rounds remaining!

Wednesday 10th June. As if Midday today, Round 2 of Kirkistown is still going ahead.

As usual sign on from 6pm. If the situation was to deteriorate in North Down and the surrounding Peninsula, we will review.

Unfortunately due to local events and putting rider safety first we are cancelling this evenings intro ride as a precaution.

Massive kudos to club members .smith.rocks and Michael McCullough who over yesterday and today have taken part in the of Northern Ireland!

Yeaten finished up 90 in the wind and rain earlier this afternoon with
Micahel riding 90 miles through the night in similar conditions!

With riders still on the road from Limavady to Ballygally heading to the finish line in Lisburn!
All worthwhile for a worthy cause! Well done to the rest of the teams also!

Results from Kirkistown Round 1 & ICL standings

Race split into 2 groups separated by a 2 min handicap.
Both groups came together at around the 35 min mark of the 45min plus 3 lap race.

Block headwind along the back straight then a wind assisted finish straight made for some fast lineouts but the bunch stayed together.

James Alexander attacked with around 4 laps to go solo, then was joined by Gareth Conn a lap later. They both worked well together to hold a small 10 sec gap all the way to the finish with James taking the win.

Jamie Clarke to the bunch sprint for 3rd.

Brilliant nights racing, thanks for everyone’s support!
