Meet your Head Coach, Dean Pritchard. Dean started taekwondo at the age of 20 and was promoted to 1st Degree black belt in 2013, 2nd Degree in 2017 and 3rd Degree in 2021. Competed locally at the Northern Ireland championships also competed nationally becoming Irish and British champion acro

ss all categories (patterns sparring and special technique). Dean has also competed internationally in Mexico, Holland, Estonia, Italy, Belarus and Greece. Dean is still an active competitor leading my example to his own students. Dean has not only been successful in his own competitions but also has instructing students for over a decade and passing on his expertise to his students who have went on to become European and world champions. We believe that "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." We offer Classes from 5y/o and above:

Every child walks into the gym carrying something you can't always see.

Fear.
Insecurity.
Pressure.
Problems at school.
Problems at home.

That's why Taekwon-Do is about so much more than punches and kicks.

Through training, children develop confidence, discipline, focus, resilience, and, most importantly, belief in themselves.

A good instructor doesn't just teach techniques. They help children discover what they're capable of, even when they don't see it yet.

Sometimes, the most valuable thing a child gains from training has nothing to do with fighting.

It's confidence.
It's self-belief.
It's knowing they can overcome challenges both on and off the mats.
