🏑🔥 THE BATTLE OF THE 1s! 🔥🏑
Last night our Ladies 1s took on the Men 1s in a pre-season showdown… because apparently a normal training session wasn’t enough! 😂
The lads came out flying and dominated possession early on, but there was one small problem… they couldn’t get through the ladies! 💪😂
The girls stood strong, defended brilliantly and kept the ball moving with some seriously slick passing. The men had to work VERY hard to break through! 👀
Eventually, the strength and pressure of the men’s side started to tell, with the Ladies 1s eventually going down 7–1.
But what a battle! 💙🏑
The ladies showed strength, determination, resilience and plenty of fight, never giving up and battling right until the final whistle.
And let’s be honest… the scoreline might say 7–1, but the Ladies 1s definitely made them work for it! 😉😂
A fantastic pre-season test for both teams and a brilliant reminder of just how far this ladies’ squad has come. 🙌
Most importantly, what a way to start the season as one big Hockey Family. 💙🏑
