🎉 CLWB NOFIO SUMMER PARTY – DIOLCH PAWB! 🎉

On behalf of the Management Committee, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our members, parents, guardians and family members who joined us for the Clwb Nofio Summer Party.
What an incredible night. We think it’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed themselves from start to finish.
A very special thank you must go to our committee members, who put so much time and effort into organising the evening. There were weeks of planning and preparation going on behind the scenes, and it was wonderful to see it all come together on the night.
We would also like to give a huge shout-out and thank you to everyone who helped make the party so special:
Bangor City Stadium and the incredible house DJ for helping create such a brilliant atmosphere.
🍴Menai Deli Sandwich Bar for the absolutely delicious food.
🎨 Tammy's face painting, Bangor, Gwynedd & Glitterize for coming to our rescue last minute and doing such a fantastic job with the face painting, we really appreciated you stepping in and helping make sure the children didn’t miss out.
📸 DJ Stretch Disco / SelfieStation / DIY Disco / Equipment Hire. for giving everyone some brilliant Selfie memories to take away from the night.
🍦 Hufen iâ Mistar Chwipi Ice Cream for keeping everyone supplied with delicious ice creams.
🏰 Arty Expressions Face Painting Bouncy Castle Hire for providing the bouncy castle, which was thoroughly enjoyed throughout the evening.
A massive thank you to each and every one of you for making it such a fantastic party. The swimmers certainly put their lungs to good use on the karaoke! 😂
And we think the award for Party Star of the Night has to go to Gareth! From giving it his all on the karaoke to showing us his moves on the dance floor, Gareth was well and truly living his best life and loving every minute of the party CNB style 😂🕺🎤
Although we have to give a very close runner-up to Anna, who certainly gave Gareth a run for his money with her moves on the dance floor! 💃😂
It was absolutely brilliant to see everyone letting their hair down, joining in and having such a great time exactly what the night was all about.

⭐️ A HUGE achievement for Medi & Clwb Nofio Bangor! ⭐️
We are absolutely thrilled to share that Medi Mellor has been selected for the Swim Wales Performance Foundations Squad for the 2026/27 season!
What an incredible achievement and one that is so thoroughly deserved. Medi has worked incredibly hard this year, showing huge commitment, determination and dedication to her training, and we couldn’t be prouder to see all that hard work recognised in this way.
This is a very special moment for Medi, but also a fantastic achievement for Clwb Nofio Bangor. Seeing one of our swimmers selected onto a Swim Wales performance pathway is something for the whole club to celebrate, and we are quite simply bursting with pride 🫶
A huge thank you and congratulations must also go to our Head Coach Ben, along with all of our CNB coaches, whose time, expertise, encouragement and commitment to our swimmers plays such an important part in achievements like this.
Medi, you should be enormously proud of yourself. You have earned this opportunity through your hard work, resilience and determination, and we cannot wait to see you take this next step and continue to develop.
Congratulations, Medi your whole CNB family is behind you and incredibly proud of you. What an achievement. What a moment. Da iawn, Medi! 🌟

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Good luck to everyone taking part in the Caernarfon Half Marathon today! 🏅
We hope you all have a fantastic run and enjoy every mile, especially when you reach the CNB manned water station.
A huge thank you to all our club swimmers and volunteers who are giving up their time today to man the water station and represent our club. Your support and willingness to get involved is hugely appreciated.
Another brilliant volunteering event that not only supports a fantastic local event, but also brings valuable funds into our club. 👏

⭐️ A proud moment for Clwb Nofio Bangor ⭐️

We are so proud to share that Medi has once again been selected to represent Wales at the Counties National Competition at Ponds Forge on 4th October.
This is such a fantastic achievement and one that has come from so much hard work, dedication and determination.
While we are celebrating Medi’s success, we are also celebrating what makes our club so special. This achievement is not just about one person, it reflects everyone who has been part of the journey. From Ben and our coaching team, our team managers and volunteers, to Medi’s family and the teammates she trains alongside every week, you have all played a part. Those early mornings, tough training sessions, encouragement on poolside, and teammates pushing each other to be better every day all help make moments like this possible.
As a club, we are incredibly proud and can’t wait to see you back in the pool representing Wales at Ponds Forge. We know you will give it your all and enjoy every moment.

From 3rd August until the end of November, every time you shop at Tesco Bangor Extra or Tesco Bethesda Express, you will receive a blue voting token.

As swimmers, parents and supporters, we all know the challenges of not having a 50m pool in North Wales. Our athletes deserve the same opportunities as everyone else, without having to travel long distances to train and compete.
If you haven’t already, please sign this petition and help show that North Wales needs a 50m swimming pool. Every signature makes a difference.
