Welcoming Imbolc:

1. Thanking winter for all she has helped compost and grow through the dark weeks and months. Painting is a self portrait, Metamorphosis, completes in 2025 not long before the move to Scotland and following a few years of rewinding within
2. Offerings from Scolty Hill for my Brigid’s cross. Brigid symbolises the turn from winter to spring and provides nurture and care for whatever wants to grow in the coming months
3. My Brigid cross, a weave to bring together the threads for my year ahead
4. Seeds from the pumpkin I carved at Samhain that I’ve had near me all through winter
5. BlackBerry having some fuss ❤️

Circles are ancient and universal shapes that show up everywhere, and we're deeply drawn to them. Time is circular too as winter becomes spring becomes summer becomes autumn becomes winter again; and so it goes on.

And circles are spaces, often around a fire or a table. Spaces where we come together to share our stories, our celebrations, our joy, our grief, our longings, ourselves.

Circles are spaces where we can connect, belong, feel seen and heard. Circles are spaces for those who feel tired of performing, fixing, or “improving” themselves.
It’s for those aching for a slower rhythm.

a little bit about me...

I've spent over 30 years working within local government, the NHS and the third sector developing individuals, leaders and teams to navigate change, flourish and thrive. For my work stuff, look here - www.linkedin.com/in/pennylee-fcipd

I'm a practicing artist as well as a coach, so I weave creative activities throughout my work... and most of that's nature based. For my art stuff, here's my Insta https://www.instagram.com/penny.lee.creative/

I've experienced lots of change professionally and personally including mid-life transition, divorce, redundancy and relocation. I've got a whole kit bag of mind/body/soul stuff that keeps me grounded, connected and resilient. I'd love to share some of it with you.
