What a weekend! Last week's tournaments were a huge success and we'd like to thank each and every one of you for making them fantastic!

Great vibes, competitive games, surprisingly good weather, and a predictably 'Thundererous' set of socials.

It's time to reveal the ThundHERground captains! Welcoming Katie, Petya, and Hagi - now you know who to impress on Saturday 👀.

The captains will pick from the women and non-binary players on the day in our bonus round robin tournament.

We'll see you at the same location as Sunday Funday - Clapham Common skatepark. Be ready to Boogaloo at 12:45.

Also if you've been scheduled for something you really can't do, we may also be able to change that. Just DM us.

You didn't ask for it, and we've delivered! We're spicing up our gameplay again this year. Our newest Thunderground addition is a Free Throw! Can you handle the pressure? Can you sink the clutch play for your team? It's time to find out.

For fouls inside the keeper zone we're giving the attacking team a Free Throw.

9.7.2 Penalty free throw

Cardable volleyball fouls committed against the attacking team inside the defending team's keeper zone will trigger a volleyball free throw.

When play resumes following the allocation of any cards, the closest eligible attacking volleyball player to the spot of the foul will be placed on the opponent's keeper line.

Defending players previously inside or within 5 meters of the keeper zone will be placed on the nearest sideline. Attacking players previously inside the keeper zone will be placed on the nearest restrictor line or end line.

Penalty time is negated for the fouling player, except for a red card. Fouls solely involving beaters do not trigger a free throw.
