Strathendrick Braves FC are very proud to announce we are launching a girls only football offering! This will consist of an initial 8 week block followed by a further 4 weeks for P1 - P7 girls and thanks to Summer of Sport Fund will be completely free!!!

Open to all abilities whether you’ve never played before and are keen to try or already play but are keen for some extra football.

After a five week programme with Celtic's community coaches leading training at Balfron for the Braves the block concluded last night with a trip to Celtic's Lennoxtown training base.

The boys enjoyed training and matches last night despite the torrential rain giving them a glimpse of what it's like to train at a professional facility.

Thanks to the Celtic community coaches for a great experience.

It was a big weekend for our talented 2018s! Not only were they absolutely fantastic at their EDDSA Super 5 matches on Saturday but the team were also invited to train at Celtic’s Lennoxtown facility. An incredible experience for them and the standard on show was top notch despite the challenging conditions!

Well done 2018s! Keep it up!

Calling all 2017 players in the local area. Strathendrick Braves have a limited number of squad places to join them as they grow the squad. We currently have one team playing in the EDDSA league but plan to add a second team in the coming weeks. To do this we are looking for one or two more players.

Training is Monday nights at Balfron at 6pm with a second evening on Wednesday at the same time. Matches are Saturday morning across various venue options (Boclair/Douglas Academy/Kirkintilloch)

Our 2018s have been very fortunate to be working with the excellent Lauren and Leah from the Celtic Academy since January. Their skills have came on massively and they have had great fun! We will soon be visiting Celtic’s first team training ground for a session and are very much looking forward to that.

Taster sessions will take place on Tuesdays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th Match between 6 and 7 on the Balfron astroturf.
