**Race Report – Round 7 | Knockhill **

Testing was good fun and well Knockhill is an eye opener that’s for sure, what an amazing circuit but it certainly takes some learning!

** Qualifying:**
A tough qualifying session with such a big grid on a small track, finding space wasn’t easy so tactics came into play and it payed off on the last lap 👌

➡️ **P1 Overall **

**Race 1:**
I manage to make the most of pole and lead for first few laps, a little mistake allowed Callum and Ben to both pass on the same lap, I got my head down chasing them down but unfortunately dropped the front in turn one after passing a back marker.

➡️ ** DNF **

**Race 2:**
Starting from P8 I had work to do, I did manage a good start and for straight upto 5th, but the gremlins of the crash started to show their head and I lost the rear brake then the front brake lever started coming back to the bar, I settled for a safe but frustrated p6.

➡️ ** P8 Overall | P6 in Class**

**Race 3:**
Starting from P8 again, another good start back up to 5th and hanging with the lead pack, unfortunately as rhe race went on I just couldn’t hang with them and dropped back to P9 holding this until the finish.

➡️ ** P9 Overall | P7 in Class**

For such a strong start to the weekend, it didn’t end how I hoped and has left me with some real work to do for the championship and to finish off the weekend the water pump let go on the van near Carlisle so we got to spend an unexpected night in the van thanks to the AA leaving us waiting for 14 hours ! Onwards and upwards to the next road !

**Race Report – Round 6 | Cadwell park **

Testing went well, coming off the back of brands hatch we had a good base setting and it was all about me trying to get my eye into the track and trying to find some more pace.

** Qualifying:**
Not the best qualifying I’ve had, track position wasn’t great, I tried a ride through to get some clear track which helped but was still held up a little and ended P8 .

➡️ **P3 Overall | P3 in Class**

**Race 1:**
Managed to get away well and made up 3 places into turn 1, the next few laps turned into a battle for P3 with my self and Callum breaking away and it being a 2 way battle for 3rd right to the finish line.

➡️ **P4 Overall | P4 in Class**

**Race 2:**
We made a few changes to the bike from race 1, unfortunately this in the wrong direction, I got a good start but just couldn’t hold onto the lead pack so had a lonely race in P4.

➡️ ** P3 Overall | P2 in Class**

**Race 3:**
Starting from P4 I didn’t get the best of start, sat into P4 again and just tried to hang on. 2 laps in there was a red flag and a race re-start. This time round, I got
It away well but in turn 2 almost lost the front with a cold tyre and found my self trying to catch Callum for the next few laps. I had a big moment over the mountain with a few laps to go which then brought Ben into the fight, luckily I was a ready for his dive into the hairpin so left him room ( knowing he wouldn’t get it stopped) then managed to the last few laps on my own bringing it home P3.

Not my best round, but I have always struggled at Cadwell, on the upside I didn’t loose to many points to Callum and still sitting in a solid P2 in the championship.

**Race Report – Round 4 | Brandshatch **

There isn’t much to say about the test day other than
It was hot, really hot ! Pulled in on the 1st session as the bike was running at 100 degrees, it turns out that was just going to be the temperature of the day! Not many changes made suspension wise more just chasing gearing and a gear pattern.

** Qualifying:**
Had a solid start in qualifying got some good clear track, but slightly iffy conditions with a big wet patch out the back end of track, worked my way into it and set a respectable time before being pulled in by a red flag, with 4 minutes left and sitting on 1st in class I didn’t go back out, unfortunately lost 1st but still managed 2nd.

➡️ **P3 Overall | P2 in Class**

**Race 1:**
I managed another great launch off the line,heading into T1 with Paul Holden on my outside, I decided to try and latch onto Paul and try and get a pull away from the rest of the pack, but Callum had other plans for me, we had a mega race battling for it every lap, making me work for it all the way to the line. I think I can honestly say the most fun I’ve had racing in a good while!

➡️ **P2 Overall | P1 in Class**

**Race 2:**
We made a few changes to the bike from race 1 to help with rear grip but I was starting from P5 this time so had some work to do, it took a few laps to get through the group and by the time I’d managed this P1 in class was too far up the road, had to settle for P2 this time round.

➡️ ** P3 Overall | P2 in Class**

**Race 3:**
Back on the front row, starting from P3, managed the whole shot into paddock hill this time, with the pressure on from Plummer straight away, we had a little battle in the first few laps and he kept me honest to the last lap!

➡️ **P1 Overall | P1 in Class**

A few weeks back we spoke about missing this round to try and help make the budget stretch, looking back now, I’m glad I didn’t !

A huge shout out to Charlotte Tuson for stepping in and helping the orange army on Saturday as they was short on numbers with out them there would be no racing!

Well… it’s finally time to let the cat out of the bag! 😂

Over the next month, we’ll be opening Beresford’s Garage! 🎉🔧

What started as one van and a dream has grown into something we could only have imagined a few years ago, and we’re incredibly excited about what’s coming next.

The garage will allow us to offer even more services to our customers, including:

✔️ Large MOT Repair Jobs
✔️ Welding
✔️ Wheel Alignment & Tracking
✔️ Engine Repairs
✔️ Diagnostics
✔️ Fleet Maintenance
✔️ And pretty much anything else you can throw at us! 😂

The only thing we won’t be doing just yet is MOTs…

BUT… I can assure you that’s already in the pipeline too! I mean, come on, it’s me… I don’t do things by halves! 😂🙈

Our mobile service will continue exactly as it is, with our vans still out and about doing what they do best – bringing professional servicing, diagnostics and repairs directly to your home or workplace.

In fact, things are only getting better.

Being VAT registered means we’ll now be able to take on warranty work, opening up even more options for our customers.

For our fleet customers, you’ll now have the choice of:

**Race Report – Round 3 | Croft **

We turned up to testing with a bike that was working ok, but not where it needed to be to be competitive, we went in the right direction straight away and ended the day very happy .

** Qualifying:**
An interesting qualify session, got passed by Simon Daniel’s through turn 3 so thought I would take the tow, BAD Idea! Turns out Simon can jump the curbs and I can’t 🤣 kept it upright though and did abit of grass tracking, managed to re join and set a lap time some how.
➡️ **P4 Overall | P3 in Class**

**Race 1:**
As always go the launch off the line, got stuck in behind Si and Callum, which ended up in a 3 way battle for 2nd in class, I couldn’t quite close Si up in the last lap but had a drag race to the finish with Callum ( he knew deep down he had nothing for the triumph 🤣)
➡️ **P4 Overall | P3 in Class**

**Race 2:**
Didn’t have the usual launch and Fin page laid it over me into turn 1 which was close to say the least! Si again looked too make the pass into the complex but unfortunately miss judged it and ran on, from there the arm pump started to set in so it was defensive for the last few laps and brought it home for my first top step finish !

**Race 3:**
Got a great launch and got it into turn 1, I held the lead until lap 3 when Si passed me and then Callum got me on Lap 4, feeling short of rear grip I decided to sit in, which was annoying as I felt I had the pace but decided it was better to bring it home than drop it due to what I though was a dead rear tyre. After I finish the race it turns out the oil cooler had failed and the bike was dripping water and oil so just getting it home was super lucky after the pre season Spain incident !

To say I went into the weekend with no expectation to a track I don’t particularly like, to walk away with my first win and 2 no 3rd places I’m going to call that a result !!

**Race Report – Round 2 | Donington **

Friday testing was a busy one trying to find a suspension set up that worked after so many changes over winter, we ended up with somthing that worked but needed refining a little more through the weekend.

** Qualifying:**
A strong session overall, took me a few laps to learn how to ride around the F900’s as they make their time in a very different way!
➡️ **P10 Overall | P5 in Class**

**Race 1:**
As always go the launch off the line, but got caught up with the pack in red gate so it was head down and push on, some mega racing though and the lap times started dropping !
➡️ **P6 Overall | P4 in Class**

**Race 2:**
Another solid launch and also made the most on the rider in front pulling a huge wheelie off the line! I had a strong few laps with the two guys infront but just lost touch after lap 4/5, the race got cut short by a red flag with the lost laps being added to race 3.
➡️ ** P5 Overall | P3 in Class**

**Race 3:**
I got off to another flying start, held with the lead pack 2 laps, unfortunately I was catching the bike infront on the brakes and good a little bit greedy into turn one, managed to keep it up right but ran on and the marshals wouldn’t allow me to rejoin !
➡️ **DNF**

Overall, some solid results and working in the right direction, just need to keep chipping away at every round and improve as much as we can !
