Last weekend we hosted our Ladies Open, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! ⛳️☀️ A great shotgun start, beautiful weather, good food and, of course, plenty of cake afterwards! 🍰

🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ That’s a wrap on our Try Golf sessions for the summer! ⛳️

On Wednesday we held our final session, which over the past 5/6 months has grown from our ladies’ Try Golf sessions into Try Golf for ladies and juniors — and what a success it’s been! ❤️

We even finished with a little putting competition, with Kelly Connolly taking the win! 🏆👏

A huge thank you to everyone who has chipped in and helped out over the past few months. It really has been a team effort, with so many people giving up their time, helping with the sessions, organising, encouraging and making everyone feel so welcome.

It’s been lovely seeing so many new faces around the club and watching everyone grow in confidence, improve their golf and have fun along the way. It’s been brilliant to see how much the sessions have brought everyone together. 🥰

We’ve had such a great time and are already looking forward to doing something similar next summer!

It’s been a great few weeks for our ladies, with some fantastic scores across the competitions! 👏

18th August – 18 Hole Stroke Play
🥇 Jane Philips – 69 👏
🥈 Liz Patmore – 76

Some excellent scoring in this one, with Jane taking the win with a brilliant score off 69! 🙌

25th August – 18 Hole Stableford
🥇 Sue Ashby – 36 points
🥈 Ginette Cameron – 32 points
