🏆 FRIENDLY MATCH 🏆

This Saturday we welcome Ayr Boswell 2013 for a friendly match.

It’s been a while since we last faced Boswell, so it’ll be great to catch up with them again. After a strong finish in League 2, they should provide a good test for our players as we continue preparing for another season in League 1.

The players will also be wearing our brand-new O'Neills Sportswear 2026/27 home kit, proudly sponsored by the absolute legends at MKM Ayr Timber & Supplies👏

On Friday we celebrated our end of season awards night at Belmont academy.

The squad has come long way from the start of the year where we came close to having to fold due to struggling for numbers, however the boys have shown hard work,fight & serious commitment over the year which is the Boswell way.We have now grown our squad numbers significantly, reached both Cup Quarter Finals & finished 2nd in the league narrowly missing out on the title.

A huge thanks to the committee,sponsors,parents & grandparents who’ve travelled near & far to support at training & matches this season without them the club wouldn’t be where it is.

Thanks to Reece at who takes the boys gym sessions & helps the boys grow & develop on & off the park.

Thanks to Liam at who takes our goalkeeper training,Liam provides us with analysis & feedback at both session & matches weekly.

Friday 22nd May 26

Friday night football for Ayr Boswell 2013s to finish off our first league season at 11s.

Cumnock Juniors Colts 2013’s is always a tough place to go, and they have had the upper hand on us this year with no wins for us in the previous 3 encounters, but the Boswell boys were excellent to a man.

Every ball was contensted, and we played some excellent football from back to front. Big credit as well to Cumnock who can also play good football and know where the back of the net is, but fortunately we came out on top this time around.

Some excellent team goals finished off brilliantly by Jayden, and a penalty for Layton, saw us win 5 - 4.

The boys have been great this season, and we now look forward to finishing off before the summer holidays with some tournaments.

We travelled to Thornhill for our penultimate league game on Saturday, with both teams hoping for points as the season draws to a close.

Boswell started on the front foot and only some good defending and excellent goalkeeping from Morton kept us at bay in the early stages.

Morton grew into the game with a great shot from distance that gave our goalie problems with the high bounce and it finished in the net. Boswell were given a shock shortly after when despite playing well we found ourselves 2 goals down after conceding from a corner.

The boys kept at it and got a goal back in the first half when Jayden finished coolly past the keeper.

Into the 2nd half and with Morton defending really well it looked like our 2nd goal wouldn’t come for us. Thankfully it did when Owen finished from a corner of our own.

Boswell kept at it and got their rewards late on. The Morton goalie making a great save from a free kick, but Mason followed it in and finished the scoring to give the boys a hard fought 3 - 2 victory.

Seeing the progress of every boy over the last year with Reece has been great, hard working but really enjoyable sessions every fortnight are shown with the attendance numbers for every gym session 👏

We look forward to continuing this partnership with Reece & a really excited to see more progress within this squad.

Tuesday 12th May 26

We welcomed Tass thistle 2013s to Carrick Academy in what was a goal fest.

Boswell got off to a flyer creating early opportunities to be denied by a mix of good goalkeeping & defending. We found the opening goal after a great run into the box Layton was brought down then stepped up to slot the penalty home. Not long after we found our rhythm Lewis C scoring from range & Jayden scoring a quick fire hattrick. 5-0HT

2nd half
Tass never let the heads go down credit to them starting finding gaps in our defence & midfield scoring 3 goals & threatening further, this left an interesting end to the match Boswell finally settled back down starting to find our way again finished strongly with Mason scoring with a tidy finish at edge of the box to finish the match 6-3FT.
