Whereas some clubs close for the summer, we stay open because this is what we love.

So if you are 10-17 or have a child who is... get in touch to see about applying to become a Scorpion. Not everyone gets in but everyone gets something out.

Limited numbers and parents who understand the benefits is a must.

Without the details, you learn what you think is right. If you do that for 5-10 years you will get to a place of utter ignorance, not realising that just because you've been around 'martial arts'... doesn't mean you have the ability to defend yourself - Child or adult.

Check out these teens making sure they get the details. Less fun than a cartwheel but throwing people to the floor can be fun too :)

The weather doesn't dictate discipline. You do. Pick the sparring partner's that don't want to injure you, find a coach who works with what you do and don't know.

Mistakes can happen BUT you need to recognise how well versed your partner is in holding pads. If they're new, go light. Common sense really.
