Even better… Monday’s Bank Holiday is looking like a good one for some sun and tennis 👀☀️ Perfect excuse to dust off the racket after the Easter eggs.

Calling all members….

Our Annual General Meeting is fast approaching, and we’d love to see as many members there as possible.

Join us on Saturday 25th April, 5:00-6:30pm at the clubhouse for a chance to hear about everything that’s been happening at the club over the past year, as well as what’s ahead for the upcoming season. The AGM will include the annual report and officer elections, so it’s a great opportunity to have your say and be part of shaping the club’s future.

Whether you’ve been a member for years or have only recently joined, your input is always valued.

And as if that wasn’t enough reason to come along, we’ll be continuing the celebrations afterwards with Van’s 60th birthday, so expect a relaxed, social atmosphere to round off the evening 🎉

League season is just around the corner… 🎾

Our amazing (and not forgetting, award-winning!) coach Tom Fowler from has been putting us through our paces with a brilliant mixed training session on Friday night 💪

Plenty of drills, sharp tactics, and lots of point-winning practice, all getting us match-ready and raring to go!

The Nailsea Tennis Club men’s annual away trip to Okehampton has wrapped up for another year… and remarkably, everyone made it back in one piece.

There was plenty of great tennis, mixed in with a lot of laughs, a few creative line calls, and some truly elite levels of off-court bonding.

Only one photo seems to exist from the entire weekend, which either means everyone was fully in the moment… or it’s being kept under lock and key for very good reason.

As always, what goes on tour stays on tour…. 👀🤣

We’re incredibly proud to share that our brilliant coach Tom Fowler from has been recognised nationally in the LTA Awards! 😊 👏🏻

Tom has been awarded a Highly Commended LTA Excellence Award in recognition of his dedication and hard work in the nominated category of Coach of the Year. 🏆🎾🎉

We feel so lucky to have Tom coaching here at Nailsea Tennis Club. He brings so much energy and enthusiasm to the courts, along with a wonderfully infectious personality that lifts every session. His coaching is always fun and enjoyable, and he has a fantastic way of making learning tennis a real pleasure for players of all ages and abilities.

What a week at Nailsea Tennis Club! 🎉

Huge thanks to everyone who joined Stampy’s Quiz Night last Friday. We had an amazing turnout, a brilliant atmosphere and lots of laughs. Big congrats to the winners! 🏆

We also ran a ladies-only taster evening on Tuesday. Despite the rain, it was wonderful to see so many ladies come along, some trying tennis for the first time, others returning to the game, all giving it a go and having fun. 🎾💪

FREE Ladies-Only Tennis Taster - Hit, Chat & Have a Go 🎾

Fancy giving tennis a go this year in a fun, relaxed setting? Join us at Nailsea Tennis Club for our FREE ladies-only taster evening. It’s the perfect chance to get out on court, meet some friendly faces and see what the club is all about.

📅 Tuesday 10th March 2026 🕖 7–9pm 📍 Nailsea Tennis Club at Mizzymead Recreation Centre

No experience needed at all. We’ll have rackets and balls ready for you, plus plenty of chat, friendly faces, and some food and drink to keep the evening social as well as sporty.

Tennis by moonlight! 🌖

The courts were busy for our ladies’ club session tonight, under a beautiful clear sky - the perfect conditions for some great games.

If you’ve been thinking about getting back into tennis, or trying it for the first time, Tuesday nights are a great place to start. It’s friendly, welcoming and open to all levels.

We’ve also got a FREE ladies-only taster session coming up soon, so keep an eye out for details and come along to give it a try.

Is that… sun? In the UK? 😱😍

Nailsea Tennis Club courts looking suspiciously dry for once. No puddle-dodging or sideways rain. No, ‘shall we just wait 10 minutes and see?’

Just actual sunshine and the sudden urge to dig the racket out from wherever it’s been hibernating since October.
