⏳ We are looking forward to hosting 'Pedal, Play & Picnic in the Park' next Saturday (20th June 2026) - and to celebrating everything Auchterarder Public Park has to offer.

We are excited to reveal a few details of additions to the event:

🎁 From 1pm, our twist on a 'treasure hunt' will be set up in the park, with people able to collect the ultimate treasure in the pavilion (while stocks last!)

✂️ At 2pm there will be a ribbon cutting to formally recognise the opening of 'P*e in the Park'.

🥗 At 4pm, there will be wild foraging activity beginning at the Pocket Forest.

*NEW TRUSTEES WANTED*

We are on the hunt for new trustees!
We’re currently a small group of 4 and while we have the lovely Iona and the rest of the team to manage all the day to day operations, we need some more people to help out with the governance and strategic guidance required and allow the Sports Hub to continue to grow and thrive.

Two of our Trustees have been on the Board since we incepted nearly 7 years ago and we need to consider succession planning and to keep our approach fresh and up to date.

We also have a lot happening over the next 12 to 18 months including the imminent refurbishment of the Astro (summer 2026), refurbishment of the MUGAs (26/27 financial year) and the proposed additional sports facilities for the town so exciting times are ahead but it also means we need more people to help on the journey!

It’s not an onerous role with the Board meeting every 4/6 weeks but we effectively run as a small business. Anyone with prior/current operations experience or financial skills would be of particular interest but really, if you are involved in a certain sport or just keen to keep the facilities at the forefront of community sport and recreation for years to come, we would love to hear from you!
