On the road again today, this time for a little round robin against Thetford Bulldogs and Stowmarket Town. A couple of great games, resulting in a win and a loss. 7 goals scored and only 2 conceded. Like yesterday, so much great football was played and so many positives to take away from today.

An early start for us today as we headed over to Waveney Foxes for another pre-season friendly. It was a great game with Erin making some amazing saves and Thea-Rose having some great runs at goal. Iyla had a couple of great shots, there was some brilliant possession and passing from the players in defence and midfield and the girls on the wings just didn't stop running. We ultimately lost 4-1 but there are loads of positives to take away from the game.

Today Heigham Park rangers visited us for our first pre-season friendly. We had several new faces in our line up for the game, but the girls gelled well, showing excellent teamwork. Several times the ball was played out form Erin in goal and within a few passes, we were on the attack. We had some brilliant runs down both wings followed by some great balls into the box. Not long before half time a loose ball was collected outside penalty area by Emily who hit a long shot into the bottom right corner to make it 1-0.
The second half started with a change in formation for us, seeing Ellen taking up position in midfield. The girls continued playing lovely, composed football with Iyla pushing forward hard and it paid off with a 2nd goal, making the final score 2-0.

Opposition player of the match went to Mabel.
Manager's player of the match went to Emily.

It was a great game today played against a lovely, friendly team and we wish Heigham Park all the best for the season ahead.

What a great weekend, with our presentation day yesterday and the Costessey tournament today.
Trophies yesterday and trophies today!

The girls were outstanding today, 7 games played in the group stage with only 2 goals conceded. The semi final going to extra time and penalties, then the same for the final, with us ultimately winning in sudden death penalties. The girls' determination today was immense, they just didn't give up.
Well done to Erin, Emily, Gracie, Ella, Bethany, Eloise, Lyla and Thea-Rose ⚽️
