An absolutely fantastic tournament display at Underwood on Sunday for Attenborough Blues in a very competitive u11 6 a side competition.

17 goals scored by the Blues and just 1 conceded all day. Beating Eastwood Aces 1-0 in a tense final match. Level 0-0 after 12 mins before a 'powerplay' where a player from each team was removed each time the ball went out of play. This culminated in a 2v2 match which the Blues won thanks to lovely link up between goalkeeper Frank, who played a great pass to Rocco for him to confidently slot in the winner.

Well done to Jack, Warren, Joey, Zayn, Rocco, Frank, Edison and Freddie 🏆

Players wanted!

The U7’s took part in the Aspire FC tournament this morning. In the group stages we won 3, lost 1 and drew 1 meaning we finished second and entered the top bracket for the knockouts. We drew 1-1 in our semi-final losing on penalties to eventual winners Aspire. A great morning of football with some great individual performances.

Congratulations to Freddie for scoring his 50th goal for Attenborough too! Well done boys.
